Last Man on Earth

Very good value. Great old movie with a fine job by Vincent Price.

Classic movie. Story is so good that the movie was remade two more times: Omega Man with Charleston Heston and I Am Legend with Will Smith. A "Must have" in your Apocalyptic collection!

this is the first attempt to put the excellent "I Am Legend" book into film format. With Charlton Heston following later with Omega Man, and Will Smith with I Am Legend. Yes, it is old. Yes it is dated. However, it does good job with the zombie format. I'm not a major zombie guy, but I believe that zombies should be slow and drag themselves after the main characters....they should not be super fast super strong animals that can fall off three story buildings, then get up and keep after you at the speed of a cheetah! They are, after all, just flesh and bone! Anyways, Vincent Price is excellent in his role here, as a lone survivor trying to stay alive with the zombies chasing after and hounding him. If you like this, then you should try Heston's Omega Man too. Again, perhaps a bit dated, but good. Then Will Smith fighting the super creatures has its place....I suppose...
