I probably just suck at soldering
I probably just suck at soldering. I bought this for jewelry making and quickly gave up because it burnt, like my dreams.

GREAT FOR THE PRICE! I would buy Again . . . BUT worth a Tiny note
It Is good, I can't fault the Flux core too much, however, the unit has some minor Inconsistencies that only matters if you use it a bunch at a timePRO's+Bond time is fast+Strongish+Higher Desolder Temp required after bond+VERY THIN & CHEAPCON's-Don't think its really Silver bearing solder (if so not much)-Minor Inconsistencies with flux content in spots (Not MEGA issue but worth a note)Overall I would Suggest it for the price. (I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN!)Its a cheap but GOOD solder for what I needed, I would suggest you have some flux on hand for anything you do.If you use flux normal and with this then its GREAT!ONCE AGAIN. Great Product for the price 10/10 , But not the BEST or as good as other more expensive Silver Flux , but most people wont notice :D

Smaller size provides greater control, but minimal Silver not ideal!
Good, but I didn't notice it was flux core. As a result you can't use this without a fan & charcoal filter. The thinner size is great for control of soldering smaller items. Downside is the minute amount of silver (Ag) within reduces ease of electrical flow and increases electrical resistance. So good, but not perfect.

Clean and quickly bonds to nickel
I’ve tried 3 other no lead solder brands over the past couple of weeks and this is my favorite solder. I’m not an expert at soldering but it just works better IMO, I’m using it for an 18650 7s40p “power wall” to connect my busbars to fused nickel.

Works great, but be sure on the size you require.
.5mm is really tiny. Works for doing lcds/pcbs but have to feed it a length of solder comparatively. In the future I will be getting 1mm I think that is a sweet spot between the 1.5 I was using, and this .5 which is usable but tiny.

Old electricians standby solder for weather exposed connections.
Silver solder for projects. I use this for electrical connections. I use a Weller iron with a tip I only use for silver solder projects. Sometimes you can't just crimp some connections and silver solder is the better choice than rosin core solder.

Great!
Bought the 0.8mm stuff. Works great. Use this for just about every electronics type soldering. I use on micro quadcopter builds which are pretty small and 0.8mm is just right for small or medium applications.
