Inexpensive fix
We thought our microwave was going out because it was arcing. We were getting ready to replace the microwave but in researching the problem I discovered that the waveguide cover sometimes get food stuck on it and quits working correctly. I noticed my old waveguide cover had a burned area. We replaced the waveguide cover with this one and the microwave works like new again. Well worth the small expense to replace it if you think your microwave may be dying. My only regret is that I didn't order 2 (to have one on hand in case).

Sharp Microwave Fireproof cover
When our Microwave light cover got a hole in it we were told we needed to replace it. We were also told to look on Amazon for the part. We didn't relize we could get the parts like that from here but glad to know we can. We didn't have a part number so we looked it up compared the part and ordered it. Our microwave works wonderful. We will order parts again when needed. It was so easy.

Saved the day!
My microwave started zapping like I had put something metal in it. I researched a bit online and read it could be the waveguide cover. Sure enough, mine had something on it that had caused a small burn spot. I cleaned it off a few times and got the microwave working again, but eventually it got a hole burned through it! I ordered this new one, and that's all it needed.This small part that was only a few dollars saved me from having to buy a new microwave. It came fairly quickly.

Works Perfectly!
Worked perfectly as a replacement! Highly recommend. Ours kept falling off after years of use. Was never sure what it did, so glad we looked it up and realized it was important to prevent fires. We have an old Sharp Carousel model R-401FW and it fit perfectly!

Good company
This was perfect. It was all that was necessary to get our microwave back up & running after food splatters ruined the original part. Good price, fast service. The first cover arrived broken but the company quickly sent a replacement at no charge.

Sharp waveguide cover
Seems to be fine but it's the second time I've had to get one. The first time I replaced it was about a year or so ago. I don't know whether the somewhat short life was a function of the waveguide or my microwave oven. So far the new one is doing OK. It has been on there 4 to 6 months I believe.

No more problem
My Sharp carousel microwave was not working properly. It was acting like it does when you put foil in it. I read that a new cover may stop the problem. Yup, it did. This is super cheap and saved my microwave. It is working like new.
