Heatwave is an amazing addition to our growing Rescue Bot collection. We absolutely love his 'Power-up and Energize' water canon. Heatwave is one of the easier bots to transform, and once our 3-year-old figured it out, Heatwave was quickly going from vehicle mode to bot mode, complete with boy-added sound effects in a matter of seconds. While the Rescue Bots are not as complex as some of the other Transformers on the market, we love them because of that. They are easy to transform so we are not constantly having to 'help' our son when he is playing with them. They are well made, and hold up to some very rough play, just be aware that after playing in sand for any length of time, they movement of the bots is impaired and they will require an adult to wash out the sand/debris and possibly require some light disassembly. Again, we love Heatwave, and all his co-bots. This was a great purchase, and I highly recommend this version because of his water cannons.

I purchased the Amazon exclusive Rescue Bots and my only regret is that I only got my son 3 of them when there are more characters available. He has several that we purchased from other big box retailers and these are SO MUCH BETTER! These are a little bigger, easier to transform and you can just tell the quality is so much better. The plastic material is shiny, they stay together better when they transform, they have an accessory and the colors seem brighter. We will be getting the other characters for his birthday in March. Highly recommended!

Excellent quality. My almost 4-year-old is collecting all of the Rescue Bots. He has some of the regular models and now 3 of the Energize figures. He seems to like the Energize Bots because they have accessories. Also, the Energize Bots are larger and transform easily. We had a problem with an older Bumble Bee model where Bumble Bee does not completely transform back into car mode without gaps due to what appears to be overuse of the spring from multiple transformations. I don't see the possibility of this happening with the Energize series. I noted some reviews state that the transforming is too easy -- I haven't found that to be a problem. My son can do the more complex 6+ transformers (with some help) but the ease of this Rescue Bot transformation seems to be much appreciated for independent play.

First of all, this is a great toy. My kids have six of these rescue bot toys (Heat Wave, Chase, Boulder, Blades, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime), and they love them all. They are easy to transform, so are good for kids aged 3-7, but probably not much older. I've found my kids like more of a transforming challenge as they get older. These are really sturdy toys and can take a beating without breaking. The reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of the box. We bought they toy this time around to give as a birthday present, and the box itself is not what you'd find in a store. It looks kind of industrial and uninteresting. This wouldn't have been an issue at all if the toy was for my own kids.

This guy has been lots of fun for my son. He’s been dropped and forced to close in the wrong way and still not broken. I love that he gets two toys in one with the Transformer and fire truck.

My 5 year old son loves transformers rescue bots. This was a huge hit for him. It was easy to transform and a good value for the price.

Exactly as described, came with the attachment (which attaches in several places, bonus!) A little bigger than the first season bots but works out since he's the leader. Easy to transform and seems to be holding up being played with every day by a 3 yr. old. If you like fancy packaging look for a different product (came wrapped in plastic in a plain box with only the Hasbro logo on it and with instructions on white paper) but for completing my son's set it was perfect.

My 4 year old loves these style transformers. They are easy to switch back and forth, and very durable. Some of the more advanced models can be very difficult, frankly impossible for a child.

My nephew loved this and was able to easily assemble it.
