Child Deluxe Gorilla Costume

Such a good option for a kiddo, it ran a little bigger than I thought the sizing said, my son wears a size 4/5 and I bought the small, it fit more of a 6-8 size for sure. Material was great and it was great quality as well!

My younger son who is 4' 8" modeled the costume for this review. I actually bought this costume for an illusion costume for myself. I went the cheap route and got the kid's version since I'm 5' 4". It was too small for me so my 5' son wore it and was a tad too short but I ordered gorilla feet to make up for the shortage and it worked out great. He won 1st place in the costume contest. The costume is so realistic. After I had made up the costume I sat it in the corner and several times it startled me because I had forgotten it was there. It did shed but not that big of a deal.

Costume looks great but keep in mind the size chart on the Amazon site is way off. The actual size is way larger than the chart says.

I ordered this for my 3.5 year old son, as he really wants to be a realistic gorilla and he LOVED this costume when we saw it on here. I checked the size chart prior to ordering cause I’m having a hard time finding a realistic looking costume in his size. And the size chart for this one on here says a size Small was for age 2-3 years old (i triple checked lol) . But when it arrived, it’s really big! On the package it says size Small for age 4-6, and even looks bigger than that when i took it out. So unfortunately, will be returning. The costume itself seems like a pretty good costume though and the face is realistic, so don’t let that deter you from ordering, just FYI the sizes aren’t true to what’s stated on here.

Fits great, my kid absolutely loves it. True to size. IT DOES SHED.

We chose an XL for my 11-year-old son who normally wears a size 10-12 (he's about 4ft 10in). This costume is a ton of fun, and it offers a lot of flexibility because the body suit, mask, and gloves are not sewn to each other. My son hasn't yet decided if he wants to wear just the gloves and mask (with normal clothing), or wear the whole costume but maybe add a Hawaiian shirt or funny hat... It's nice to have options for different combinations of accessories. As others have said, it sheds all over the place. The costume itself doesn't seem to show the loss of fur, but light fuzz is all over our floor!

I ordered a child size small. The costume fit perfectly, but the face mask and the gloves are an adult size large or extra large at least. Nowhere near a six-year-old child.

Looks just like a gorilla. Comes with the body, hands, and head. Banana not included. It is does get hot after a while. It is not itchy. It is a costume so you don’t want it to be too tight. It would fit a an 7-9 year old well. It was a little big for our 6 year old.
