Had a sucker one but sucker broke
Excellent, knives sharp ned to perfection. So easy to use and no chance of anything breaking or falling apart like my sucker one. Scissors part not so great or they were really blunt. Now it depends on the material of the knives as to whether they will stay sharp. But easy to sharpen and quick too.

Very effective and easy to use
I have sharpened several of my kitchen knives and had a go at one pair of general purpose scissors. The result on the knives was excellent. From sad jagged edges on my veg to neat, thin slices much as I remember from when the knives were new. Getting to grips with scissor sharpening is trickier but I think it helped.This is a bit bigger than my previous sharpener, giving room to include 3 grades of grinding surface plus the scissor section. The extra room that it takes in the drawer is well worth it for the extra stability in use and the suckers keep it nicely steady on the work surface.

Doesn't appear to do what it says it does!
The description says: The Professional knife sharpener is extremely effective and durable, for use straight edged steel kitchen knives, scissor and wide serrated knives (bread knives). However, on unpacking it on the side of the box it says it's not to be used with a serrated blade! I bought this based on the description so I've a good mind to return it, which is extremely annoying!

This product does the job of keeping knives perfectly sharp.

A bit on the big side
Does the job of sharpening the knives but wish it was a bit smaller. It looks good quality and I like being able to hold it firmly on the bar wit one hand whilst sharpening with the other hand. It takes up a chunk of space in the drawer, so measure before buying. I am keeping it though.
