It was cheap and the right size
It is hard to find a pistol case for a 14” long pistol. The Crossman 1377 that I bought from Amazon is long. This case will do the job and have room for a special scope and accessories. You can read my review of that gun and see a picture of its length. The modulator unscrews of course. Upon inspection, I noticed the gap on both sides. Apparently, the egg crate sponges causes the side edges to bow up causing the gap. I doubt this is an “all-weather” case. I plan to do a custom liner to deal with that problems and I don’t plan to transport my gun out of my home. It’s just to keep it protected and all in one place. I wanted the Plano case without the Rustrictor but it’s wasn’t available.

Not the greatest box.
I picked up one of these to use for handguns. It gets a resounding "Meh" from me. The anti-rust insert takes up the entire middle of the case. And when you actually put something, like, say, a firearm, in the case, the sides don't close all the way. It will latch shut, and the guns won't fall out. But there will be a noticeable gap along both sides. This is not air-tight, waterproof, or anything like that. If it weren't more hassle that it was worth, I would return it. As it is, it will just be used as a non-secure box for going to and from the range. I am not impressed.

Extremely flimsy
Very thin plastic. It doesn’t hold its shape. I wouldn’t put anything in it unless you want it to get crushed. The latches are also very cheap and will come off or break easily. I returned mine.

Latches break
Was a nice case for about a month then one of the latches just fell off and won't stay back on. I literally only took it to the range twice.

Hinges sprung, latches didnt line up, just not worth the trouble to try to fix it

Inexpensive cases that provide safe storage
Work well and inexpensive. Combination hard to beat. Full size pistol and two additional mags fit fine. Not much else.

Tough and rigid.
This is much more rigid than other brands in this price range and is nicely styled as far as gun boxes go. Two small lock holes are provided and if you use the correct sized locks you won’t have any issues. The snaps are tough and built to last.This fits my Glock 34, two magazines, and a speed loader with plenty of room to spare.Plano has exceeded my expectations.Amazon delivered this in a blink of yan eye
