5.5 HR test
Most people filled up their flask and keep it indoor , but haw will it perform outside on sunny day? To answer this - I filled up water bottle with cold water from refrigerator , added 3 ice cubes , placed outside under direct sun @95fahrenheit outside temperature .I also did same it to Hydroflask and Bear GryllsAfter 5.5 HR ice cubes in all 3 flasks was completely dissolved .Water still was cold and temperature was about same in Amplin and Bear Grylls .water in Hydroflask was significantly warmer . As for 48 hr keeping water cold claim by manufacture -I believe it’s only possible indoor , under A/C or inside fridge . 4stars vs 5 for fabric hand strap on bottle that is no way to get out and clean if it gets dirty . Does not keep water cold
I bought this canteen specifically to keep the water on my nightstand cold Throughout the night. This product did not even keep my water cold six hours, vice the 48 advertised.
