This was the first battery I had to solder but was still easy to replace.

The included "tools" to remove the old battery are just toys. The two pry tools broke when trying to pry off the screen so I took the battery and the device to the local repair shop. The tech reported that the battery only puts out 0.04 amps, which is essentially dead. It should put out near 1 amp. This low output is typical of an old battery that has sat around for years. I had the shop put back in my old battery that had short usage life and the device worked as before, so it isn't that the device is bad, it's the "new" battery. Don't bother buying from this seller. I'll buy from another and hope for better results. (Bought and reviewed late November 2021.)

Arrived with the cable bent the wrong way, so i had to try and bend it the right way. However this caused there to be a break in the connection. I’m going to try and MacGyver it back together but I would recommend a different brand.

Exact battery but the installation is difficult. It’s difficult to lift the screen off. Other components are fragile.

The battery worked perfectly, but every tool broke when using, even the screwdriver (did not use the suction cup). I ended up having to order a toolkit with metal opener/pry tool and spudgers to get my 4th generation ipod open. We Solder would not even stick to it and the ribbon burnt up
