Great light set, especially for the price.I've purchased a few bike light sets in this price range but this one has been the best yet. The front light detaches easily and becomes a flashlight you can walk with that has an attached wrist strap. It also has a better build quality (metal instead of plastic) than others in this range.Another plus is the light radius, which you can see decently well in the pictures I added. Other lights I've purchased seem to mostly function as a way to alert cars of your presence, but don't really illuminate your way that well. This one is nice and bright, and you can easily adjust the width of the beam to suite your preference.The first set I ordered had a faulty rear light. I contacted the company via email and they responded within 15 and immediately shipped me a new set.

Did I get a defective one or something? I don't quite understand how this has great reviews (which is why I bought it in the first place). Primary problem is that it runs through batteries to the point of being unusable. I tried first with Duracell and then with Amazon's rechargeable batteries but in both cases I get one, maybe two good 12m rides in the dark before the light dims to the point of being useless. Secondary problem is that this flashlight doesn't stay in the holster. The holster has to be pointed down toward the ground of course, and no matter how hard I jam the flashlight into the holster, at some point when I hit bumps in the road or the sidewalk the flashlight will slide out of the holster and drop to the ground. This has happened to me like three or four times in a short ride. I thought perhaps I had put the holster on the wrong way, but if you turn the holster around there's no way to get the flashlight in so that it points at the ground.

The handlebar clamp works well & comes with 2 different thicknesses of rubber shims so it will fit a wide range of handlebar diameters. The overall build quality appears to be excellent. I chose the removable battery operated type over the USB charge type just because in inexpensive products, the USB connector quality is usually poor so it's just a matter of whether the connector fails first or if the built in battery does.I've been using the headlight for a week & am very pleased so far. I haven't used the tail light so I can't comment on that. The spec. for the headlight shows a lower illumination than a lot of the other headlights on the market but this one seems plenty bright enough for street riding. I'm using it primarily to be seen, not so much to see. I tried it out using rechargeable Amazon Basics batteries by running a fully charged set down in each of the 3 lighting modes. The strobe mode ran for over 6 hours with good illumination, after that it ran for several more hours but not very brightly. In the other 2 modes I got about 4 hours of good illumination before dimming considerably. I'd expect to get better performance from disposable batteries but I use rechargeable for just about everything these days.There's a lot of total junk being sold online these days, including on Amazon, but this isn't junk. Maybe my standards are lowered by other recent purchases but I think this was one of my better online purchases.

I LOVE this bicycle light package! This is one durably made bicycle light with tail lights. This flashlight is also detachable from the post attached to your handlebars so you can use it independently in case you're camping in the dark or raising a tent. It's very bright and it has 3 types of modes: Super bright bright and rapid flashing bright. This flashlight takes 3 AAA batteries and it's focus is adjustable as well from pencil thin focus to super wide focus. I tried it the minute the package arrived on a rainy night and it performed pretty good and all expectations about this flashlight is met along it's water resistance to rain. The rear flashlight however I haven't tried it yet. I highly recommend this flashlight combo because it's priced right.

I am more than satisfied with these lights. These lights look so good on the bike.The brightness of the headlight is surprisingly impressive. I love how easy it is to remove with a thumb screw if you're worried about it being stolen. I love that these lights have thumb screw clamps instead of stretchy bands. They have a few different size grip inserts to clamp to different size bars. The blinking feature on both lights is great.Of course without saying, the best part about these lights is that they're AAA battery, so I just use some rechargeable and when they go out, quick replace them and charge the dead ones. None of this get your USB cable and don't forget to recharge it every time. Rechargeable is cool for some things, but not for this, because like my friend says, his lights are always dead because he forgets to plug it in!One final note, I had an issue with my clamp and the seller promptly sent me a replacement. GREAT service! I'll buy another one of these sets in a heartbeat!

Having recently got a bike for a short commute to work, I realised I needed a set of lights to ensure I was visible to other road users.I chose this product because it had front and rear lights and both were LED which are brighter than traditional bulbs and consume less power and so batteries should last longer. Another feature I was looking for was a front light that had a flashing or strobe function - having been a car driving and seen cyclists behind me with this I knew it was perfect for ensuring I was visible and safe.The lights arrived quickly and the packaging was basic but of great quality - the outer packaging made form thick card with the inner packaging consisting of a foam inlay that held everything in place perfectly.The lights took only a few minutes to fix to my bike - I required no tools as the fixings themselves were finger-tight fittings which made everything straight-forward and simple.I love the fact that the front light can double as a hand torch - I'm not sure I will use this but I can see it being a bonus feature if I need a torch.The beam from the front torch is very bright! It can be easily adjusted by turning the casing which focuses the beam. The on/off is a simple soft-touch button on the rear of the torch at the base.The rear light has a small on/off button on the rear of the light - this can be tricky to get to but I'm not going to mark the product down for this as this was due to my placement of the product on my bike which is down to personal preference.I've been using the product on and off now for probably a month. The fixings have all stayed in place despite my commute going over some very bumpy roads!I would say that I have not had cause to use this product in the rain so I cannot comment as to how waterproof it will be however I will say that both lights have rubber seals and so I fully expect them to keep the rain out.I would recommend these lights to others and I would buy again.

A surprisingly good kit representing excellent value.They may not be quite up to CatEye build quality, but they are sufficient well made. The front light is a brilliant design: it's like a standard torch (flashlight for Yanks) that slides into the handlebar mount and secured with a couple of turns of a twist. This is great for slipping into your pocket or handbag to help find your way out to the bike in the dark. I like that the light has the usual three settings, bright-dim-flash, but with an instant off between the settings rather than a continuous press, press, press to turn it off. The beam width can be adjusted to match your use.The rear light can be clipped onto a bag or attached to the post mount.I've ordered a second set for my Wife's bike.

this bike light set is well worth the money, and comes with a couple of different sizes of grips. the quality is excellent, the front light is made of metal and the rear of good quality plastic. these lights are weather proof and have survived wind and rain.one thing to note, after a while (I've been using these more than 3 weeks at the time of writing), the grip on the front handle bar seems to grip less, meaning, the light seems to slightly slip over large bumps etc. a quick readjustment fixes this, but just something to notice.all in all, a great quality product (I installed batteries upon receipt, and they haven't run out or shown any signs of low life after 3+ weeks of usage)

This set, I had already ordered 2 years ago for me. It holds what it promises. Price / performance totally super. Unfortunately it was not offered anymore in Germany, but the ordering process and delivery was child-friendly and complicated and fast. Product keeps wind, snow, rain, sun. Super fast to assemble and fits everywhere. Now I've ordered it for my husband and our 4-year-old son. Super also as flashlight usable. Light adjustable in the width of the light cone, the brightness and flashing. Just right light ..Communication with salesman fast and very helpful ...100% recommendable!

These lights were bought as a present for my grandson. They are presented in a decent box and the items are nestled in their own foam compartments . Batteries (not included) were easy to insert and lights were in good working order. What I liked about the headlight is that it can be removed easily from its bracket and used as a torch.
