Great easy to fit with good instructions

I've had my Bose QCs for about 6-7 years now. They've always delivered a great audio experience and reasonable noise cancellation. I've taken them on countless flights and train journeys and they've been great. However, they failed to stand up to the heat and sweat generated in the gym and finally the ear pads began to fall to pieces and noise cancellation was lost. I had a quick look and decided wrongly that the pads couldn't be replaced by a user (I should really have checked the internet first!).Ingeniously, I persuaded my partner to give me the latest Sony equivalents for Xmas. These probably deliver even better sound and noise cancellation and they have Bluetooth, but they are not guaranteed to stand up to moisture either. I didn't want to risk the same thing happening to them. I then had a look around and found that replacement pads for the Bose were available and could easily be fitted by a user. Rather than risk the new (and more expensive) Sonys in the gym, I could use the Bose ones for the sweaty stuff and hope they last for another five years!I was skeptical about how easy it would be, but the replacement pads were pretty cheap and the reviews were good, so give it a try. They were delivered in a nice package with fairly clear instructions and a special tool to help with the replacement. The whole process took about 10 minutes with some trial and error (don't be put off!). The old pads come off quite easily. They are not an integral part of the headphone, neither are they glued into place. They simply click out of the plastic body of each headphone with a confident tug from the bottom, and the replacements similarly click into place.In fact I found the special tool not very helpful. Once I got the hang of how the ear pads fit (it's a good idea to pay attention to how the old ones come out) I found it much easier simply to press the replacements in with my thumbnail. Please look carefully and be sure that each one is firmly in place. If you don't press firmly enough and hear the clicks as you go all the way around, they can fall off. No damage is done. You just need to try again.Once done, the results are excellent. They look identical to the originals, are just as comfortable and distracting background noise is reduced equally well. I've only had them a few weeks and only time will tell how long they last.

Much cheaper than replacing the headphones. Surprisingly easy to fit.

Exactly what I was looking for. I hadn’t used my Bose headphones for some time, and was shocked to find the ear pads had deteriorated upon opening, but these replacements were absolutely spot on and were easy to fit. Great product, thank you.

Excellent and do the job.

Really comfy and a noticable improvement on fit from my ageing OEM Bose ear cups. Super simple to fit, especailly with the tool provided to run around the rim of the cup to seat correctly. Handy instructions with pictures to show you what to do. Overall really pleased, they were east to fit and are super comfy providing a better seal for improved noise cancellation.

Good quality pads making an excellent replacement for the existing pare.
