Sweating after 5 minutes
UPDATE (9.17.20):I've been using the vertical climber for about 6 weeks and there has been a noticeable difference in the tone of my legs. I have been measuring my thighs and have lost a 0.5" which is surprisingly significant. I don't run or do any other cardio, so I know that it's because of this climber. The only con is that I've noticed some plastic dust accumulating because two pieces run against each other. It's not a big deal, but now I understand why it's noisy.• • • •QUALITY: 5/5Look, this is $150. For the price of non-professional equipment, I'm content. Yes, it looks like plastic - and with that connotes "cheap" - but it seems well designed/built.ASSEMBLY: 4/5You might need to grab your eyeglasses to magnify the small illustrations, but it's easy enough to put together. Took me about 45 minutes, but I was also distracted by a TV show. The instructions and part are clearly labeled. My only suggestion is that an instruction video would be beneficial - it's 2020.NOISE: 3/5You can't do it next to a sleeping baby, but it's nothing some headphones and music can't fix. I haven't tried WD40ing it yet, but that might do the trick.WORKOUT: 5/5I'm a 5'8" female at 130lbs. I went from working out 5x a week to a pretty pitiful plan once COVID hit. This has me sweating after about 5 minutes. And I mean, REALLY sweating. It's definitely effective, and you can go as fast and slow as you want. There's also different ways of targeting your body parts (not spot targeting) depending on how you hold it/angle your torso. I started at 10 min, then 20, and hoping to move to 30 minutes a day. I'm dripping sweat by the end.STORAGE: 5/5Super foldable and not super heavy. I had no problem moving it.NOTES:• There is no resistance. But you can move faster or slower to increase heart rate.• I would invest in a cheap wall mount for your phone so you can watch TV if you're not setting up in a room with a tv. There's no where on the machine to attach your phone.• As you're assembling, you might need to reference the Amazon product page to understand how the feet attach. The instruction illustrations aren't THE BEST.
