Flipper The New Adventures- Season 1

it is a great series to watch and like to see it

Childhood nostalgia-This show was the seed to my dreams! I am so thankful that I can treasure this show at home whenever I want. I remember when they canceled this show and I had one recorded episode on a VHS. I told my mom I would cry if it was ever recorded over. I named all of my dolls and Barbies after the characters. Many years later the shows popped up on Hulu, and now in my DVD player. I know I sound crazy, but this brings me joy. Because of Flipper, I get to live this life everyday. I have done shark research, swam with whale sharks, worked with jellies, educate the public daily on all marine species. Everyday is a 'New Adventure'!

Been waiting 5 years to get this season to complete my collection of Flipper The New Adventures, and I finally got it last month! (Cover art not from this season for the record) every episode from this season is included, reason for 11 discs is there are 2 episodes on each disc but all the episodes are there. Good quality for 90s tv, I enjoy every minute of watching this series! 🐬

I have the whole series from season one to four so I'll review them all here. Not many will agree with me, but I like this remake of Flipper better than the original. In this show, Flipper is a friend and he lives in the wild. In the 60s version he was Sandy and Bud's pet. Dolphins aren't pets! So that's one thing, and I like the people characters better too. Flipper has more human friends than just two boys. The only thing I didn't like though, that's why it has four stars, some episodes didn't have much Flipper in it. They were too much about the people and Flipper wasn't involved much. But I still enjoyed the show, I am a huge dolphin fan.

I was happy to locate this hard-to-find title on DVD, and happier still when it arrived quickly. Quality met expectations. I had been searching for this title off-and-on for quite awhile with no success, so this was a terrific find for us. This series is a KEEPER in our video library. The MOD process is a great way to make many more titles available that otherwise wouldn't be. Thumbs up to Amazon and MOD!

dvd quality is good here, but I wish it was popular enough to have on bluray.

Great quality dvd. The Cover art is disappointing because it is from the wrong season. There are no extras really. But I am gladthat it is out on dvd.

Liked this show but loved the 60's show better

Updated Adventures With Everyone's Favourite TV Dolphin Flipper. The Series Updates The Classic 60s Television Series What The New Show Had Going For It Introduced The TV Going Public To It's Latest Young Starlet Jessica Alba Billed As Jessica Marie Alba. Gone was The catchy Theme Tune from The 60s series and older viewers will remember it The series went for a more action jazzy Theme Tune as it introduced it's young stars over The credits. while The stories still used Flipper for The centre plot unlike The original series it does not always feature The Dolphin coming To The rescue As a Teenage action adventure Half Hour format The stories focused around our young stars getting mixed up with all kinds of Dasterdly plots while working for an oceanic research providing ample opportunity To place The young stars in all kinds of Deadly peril. Though This would be good Training ground for The young Miss Alba when she went onto Movie blockbusters like Into The Blue. when Flipper returned for a second series only Jessica Alba and of course Flipper would return Billed now as Jessica Alba The show introduced a new cast and went for a more Baywatch style approach which was Taking The airwaves by storm Then. Though The second series did provide ample opportunity To get Jessica Alba into more bikini swimwear. enough of series Two This is The original first season That brought Flipper back for a new Generation of TV buffs. oddly enough as a complete season Flippers New Adventures comes spread over Three individual DVD's and not The standard box set you would expect. again oddly The Dust jacket covers feature The series Two cast apart from These little flaws The Disc's offer excellent picture and sound quality The Kids will love This series and anyone who likes Dolphins and of course Jessica Alba fans seeing Their young Heroine make her first TV splash is always going To be fun A Splashy Five Stars.
