Flying Fisherman Matecumbe Wrap Around Polarized Sunglasses, Tortoise
Have purchased (4) pair and all have held up well over constant use. Am finally getting a couple of minor scratches (not so bad as to distend vision) showing up after years of use! Will definitely purchase again. Also, these are fairly light in weight, hence, very comfortable to wear!

Not a true mirror lens
I used to be a huge fan of Flying Fisherman sunglasses. These were very average. They had an extremely strong nasty plastic smell. Like really cheap plastic. Fit was a little rigid and tight. Optics ok. Not at all a mirror finished lens. Can see my eyes through them. Compared to their Master Angler series, these rate a distant third in a 3 horse field.

Top notch Fly fishing and general fishing sunglasses.
These are amazing glasses, highly recommend these for fishing, driving and archery target practice. Great visuals for clarity, amazing polarization on the water. Especially lakes, rivers and inshore saltwater.I have had and still do Costa, Ray Ban and Hobie - which are good glasses. Yet, have to say for the price these are just as good. I actually like them better than my $100+ sunglasses. Highly recommend them. I have bought the green/amber for freshwater and inshore 3 pairs. Plus, two pairs of the offshore blue. Say these are up their with my Smiths, at a quarter of the cost.

Quality sunglasses for a great price.
I’ve had 20-30 pairs of flying fishermen. I started wearing them back when bait shops in Florida sold them. I’m really hard on sunglasses. So it’s nice when you have to retire a pair and don’t stress buying a new pair. These last ones went on a 9 day cruise with 5 islands full of beach and snorkeling. They held up well though it all. Try a pair you’ll like them.

The coating on the lenses started to come off after the first fishing trip
This is the third pair of flying fisherman sunglasses I have pruchased, the first two were great. This pair did not last at all, the coating on the lens started coming off after my first fishing trip. I am not sure if it was a bad run or if it is the quality of them going downhill.

Great value and functionality!
I've worn these for a couple of months now. Fishing inshore saltwater and everyday use. These are comfortable and provide what I'm looking for in polarized sunglasses: great price, great function!

Happily surprised
Was looking for a set of inexpensive sunglasses. I am hard to please, i am used to premium grade polarized lenses (glass optics) from Serengetti, Revo, Smith, Oakley...These Flying Fisherman caught my attention and decided to give them a try. Happy i did and keeping them. Although plastic lenses, they are distortion free, easy to clean and lightweight which is great for sport wearing ie cycling, tennis, golf... The Accutint performs as stated and maintains colors rendition while adding contrast. Luminosity with amber is on the high side but great for driving or shaded area. As for the frame, at these prices, i purchased the Taylor matte brown with amber lenses and the Matecumbe tortuoise with green lenses. I prefer the fit and looks of the Matecumbe but it creaks when manipulating where the Taylor don't and seem a more refined build. I am keeping both.
