This is a good little item to be fair.I'm an old school dj that has not done it in 20 years so it's more of a hobby for me now. Saying that I have just upgraded this item one day after buying it.Reason being I'm thinking of getting back into it after messing around with this for a few hours.It's so simple to use, fun for beginners or a back up for DJ's. I used it with virtual DJ so you don't have to use it with the same software they say it comes with.Try it for your kids, or yourself you'll enjoy it.Build quality is ok but I'm used to more expensive (old like myself) vinyl and cds but times have changed so much now I thought I'd give it go.I dont think you will be disappointed for the price and as long as this and other items hold out I'm going back to work as a DJ again.Sound is good but I only Brought some bedroom speakers for now at the same time. These will be upgraded massively if I return to DJ'ing along with other items.For the price you pay for this item it's well worth it and I cant complain even if it feels cheap.Light weight and easy to move about, slim and easy storage when not being used your good for all occasions with this.Dont expect a million dollar set up it's not that way inclined, bedroom use or starter DJ. You will need to upgrade soon but it is really fun .

For the money, this is a really nice 2 channel controller.The 6 inch jog wheels are off Denon's far more expensive pro models and are smooth, weighty and accurate - really nice to use and even scratch with. Would be nice on a controller several times the priceThe faders and knobs are all quite nice tooNice long tempo fader makes BPM adjustment more accurate.Full-kill 3 section EQ.The 8 rubber performance pads have a good feel and the 4 pad-mode select buttons make using them easyVU meters are rare on cheaper controllers but very useful if you're gonna play out with it.The FX section with it's battle mixer is simple but very nice to use - select an effect button and then push the paddle for the side/channel you want to use it on. Makes using effects super easyThe only thing on it I would change is the "Fader Cuts" function, on the pads. I cannot see myself ever using it, and because it's hard-mapped to the controller, you cannot remap it to a different function in VirtualDJ or Serato. But other people might well love it.

Lovely mixer. But problem installation of application

For the money this is a nice piece of kit and perfectly good for bedroom DJs or those moving up from something very basic. This is the fourth controller I've had and bought it as my Denon MC2000 finally gave up the ghost and I didn't want to spend out for pro level gear as I just don't need it. Although good value for money there is obviously a compromise in build quality and functionality between this kind of thing and pro level gear.The good points have been highlighted in many reviews but to confirm, I really like the the effects set up with the paddles and although it is true that there are limitations as you can only use one effect per channel at any one time, the ease of use means that won't bother most people. All of the rotary controls are good and the filter knobs are excellent, as are the loop controls.The one thing that disappointed me and the reason I have only given four stars is the fact that there is no 'click' in the middle of the pitch slider range to let you know that you are in the middle. This is annoying because it means you can't tell just by feel when the pitch slider is in the middle and thus the tune is set to its actual BPM on loading. Instead you have to keep checking by looking at the screen. I'm not sure why Numark have left this out but just be aware of it.

Great sound quality, comfort to use, fun to use, great, easy to carry about.. Did the job well. It is very good and easy to use for those that are just learning to Dj.

The media could not be loaded. I love this controller. it is brilliant. The level of quality that this controller brings is not like anything else. The rubber pads and rubber 100mm tempo sliders mean you can tempo match very easily without using sync. The jogwheels are outstanding. 6 inches with inner displays with a metal feeling with some weight to them making it much easier to beatmatch. The effects section also is amazing and makes it easier to select an effect and use it on the controller rather than manually selecting it on the software like a pioneer does. This controller overall is the best controller you can get at this price point. highly recommended.

I haven’t dj’d for a good few years. I used to own a pair of 1210mk2’s but unfortunately had to sell them for personal reasons. I was never a superstar dj or ever played to a paying crowd but I really enjoyed mixing and just having fun with my pals at home. I started looking around for a controller as I wanted to get back into it and from my research these machines were ticking all the boxes. An abundance of features, Easy to use, Great build quality. Compatible with serato and top quality streaming through tidal. You’ll need an account which for the basic version is £10 a month but I do feel it is worth it. Plus you get three months free trial when you buy the controller. Overall I’m really happy with it. I’m still learning my way around it but I’m already doing more creative mixing than I’ve ever done before. 5 stars from me.
