Impressive results! Great investment!!
We live in a heavily wooded area, and escaping the bugs is a very difficult task in my home....we have problems with everything from flying ants, stink bugs, Beatles , very large moths, fruit flies, and not to mention those pesky mosquitoes that are HUGE where I live!We typically use those sticky strings that you hang from the ceiling, those things are just so disgusting and they leave behind glue residue, that is impossible to take off.We decided to finally upgrade our insect repelling approach, And after some research I stumbled across this gadget...overall very happy with it!! I really liked the idea of a 2 in 1 device.Since the majority of our insect activity is in the kitchen, since our patio door is right off of it, and of course the food sources, including my fruit basket, which is right next to the door..this machine works out perfectly for us.. it does an amazing job at attracting the bugs, we have seen a significant decline in flying insects since installing it.. my favorite part about this device is that it keeps the disgusting carcasses hidden until I have time to clean it out, and not only is it very nice looking, with a modern, techy look and feel to it, It also makes for a perfect night light.. for midnight snack time.. My only regret is not purchasing this sooner.Terrific investment! Very happy customer

Works well
Everything with this is great. The only issue I had was with Amazon’s “people who bought this got this too” suggestion. Overall my fault for not double checking but the refills/replacement glue traps were that Amazon recommended weren’t the right ones for it. Just cut them to fit but just an annoyance. Definitely helps with controlling the flying insects around.

Works like a charm!
I don't do many product reviews, so this product must be special. All of a sudden, we have no more flying insect problems! I wish I had gotten this much sooner. You may be able to live with an occasional fly in the house, but when you're swatting 15-20 a day, something has to be done quickly. I think we had a dead rodent under the house. That's how our problem started. Anyway, huge bluebottle flies kept showing up in our den...we were at our wit's end when I found this UV trap. The infestation is gone now but still, an occasional fly will sneak in the door when we let the dogs in and out. I don't even reach for the swatter anymore. They cannot resist the unit. It's like 24-7 you've got the little woman chanting, "go to the light, little children!" It's also a great nightlight for the family room! Moths, flies, gnats, fruitflies and any other kind of flying nit winds up on the sticky pad. We're very pleased with this trap and I'll keep it supplied with sticky traps as long as I can. Heartily recommended if you can't stand flying pests!

It's big and it doesn't work well
We bought this to use for house flies and the occasional flying bug that gets in. Unfortunately it didn't do anything for us. After 3 days, it hasn't caught a single fly. On a side note, the flies seem to enjoy flying around in the glow of the blue light.

my flies are picky
The light attracts small insects but not the flies that are abundant here each summer. (We have livestock) I had high hopes of sticky pads full of flies but that did not happen. What works best for me are the sticky towers - but they are unsightly in my kitchen. (The best ever are the traps with attractant - stinky!!)It serves as a nice night light...I am keeping it for the small flying insects and moths.

Fly tape works better and is cheaper. The flies seem more attracted to fly tape than this product.
This product works, however fly tape seems to work even better, and is much cheaper. I was expecting it to work better.

More effective than I thought
The media could not be loaded. This year we could've get rid of the flies (last year it was ants). I decided to try this wall mounted big light and it more effective than I thought! There are down sides to this model:- the mount is not flush, so one cannot mount it flat against a wall or under a cabinet. You must drill holes in a wall and hang it.- the power cord is black (clashes with white colored bug light) and is only one foot long. Where I end up mounting this light, above a doorway, I used white duct tape to try and conceal it- you will not be able to find the exact size & shape of sticky board for the unit. What you do find will work, but you have to trim with scissors and it doesn't cover the whole area it sits onBesides the negatives, do far it's been effective and it also caught countless small flying insects I didn't know where in my house. I prefer it to ugly window sticking traps or chemicals

Catches so many bugs!!! So Awesome!!!
This thing is awesome!!! The sticky paper that goes inside collects anything that gets inside. This not only includes flies but apparently ants, spiders, a few mosquitoes and a couple of moths have also found their way inside this bug catcher which is awesome!!! Hanging this was really simple but we did have to use the wall anchors as where we wanted this hung, there were no studs close....no big deal!!! Once installed, it was almost instant when the flies were just going straight for it. We have this installed next to our back slider in hopes the flies and any other bug that sneaks in would go straight for this and majority have. There are usually 1 or 2 that still fly past it but since putting this up near the door, I don't see as many flies in my home which is so much nicer now. Win win!!! Definitely recommended!!!
