I haven't had a chance to read this book yet but based on thumbing through it and reading bits and pieces it seems well written with lots of pictures for reference!

Kind of an overview of how somebody once did a restoration. Coffee table book.

This book is extremely detailed and much more than I expected. The entire process of tractor restoration is walked through. Steps and information in this book cover scouting your tractor, inspecting it, purchasing it, initial restorative processes all the way through bondo and painting at the end. I am very happy with this process and am ready to use some new ideas and techniques learned from this book on my next restoration!

Shows how to restore tractors the American way

I like all the books from this publisher. Being old and not in the greatest off health it's good to read about the stuff you're never going to do. The perfect dreaming book.

Not a significant level of detail. More for a beginner with limited previous mechanical experience. Would recommend going straight to your tractors repair manual for information.

it would have been nice to know that half the first page was taken up by a gift message to the original owner :) But this is a book that I borrowed from the library, then realized I wanted to own a copy of, in order to keep my 56 Ferguson tractor alive. i'm looking forward to a summer of learning :)
