Harris Seriously Good Aluminium Extension Pole, 3m

I bought this extension pole for decorating and it’s been excellent. The aluminium construction makes it strong but still lightweight, so it’s easy to handle even when fully extended. The extension mechanism works smoothly and locks firmly in place, which makes it feel secure when you’re using it for painting ceilings or high walls. It’s long enough to comfortably reach higher areas without needing to constantly move ladders around. It also fits standard roller heads perfectly, so it’s very straightforward to use straight out of the box. Overall, it’s a well-made, reliable extension pole that makes decorating much easier, especially if you’ve got high ceilings or large areas to paint. Definitely a good bit of kit to have for DIY or decorating jobs.

If you have extra tall walls and ceilings I would 100% recommend this pole. I have a house where the upstairs rooms are 16 foot high sloped on one side. 100% mid-century modern at its finest. There was absolutely no way I was going up there to do the cutting in as it was too awkward, not to mention dangerous, so I attached a cutting in brush to the pole using tape and got to painting. The pole was excellent! Not flimsy or too heavy and well balanced. This made light work of the task and was unbeatable for a job that requires a steady hand. Didn't smudge the wood lapped ceiling once! I was able to height adjust it easily and in seconds, as I worked along the slope of the wall. I used a Harris paint roller attached to the pole for the rest of the painting work and it gave superb, even results - as I've come to expect from their products. I've been using Harris products for decades and hands down they are the best mid-priced range out there, especially for anyone on a budget who wants quality, long lasting painting tools.

Harris does make me think of quality, and this extendable pole is no different. I most probably would need a longer size, but that was just me not measuring my ceiling height 🙃. It feels quality and sturdy also, but is also pretty light weight considering how sturdy it looks. Not cheap looking or feeling. Reasonably priced.

Good quality pole extension and light to use, even when fully extended it’s so light

Extremely useful tool that allowed me to single handedly paint the entire house with no training nor expertise.

I use this to clean the gutters on my house. Attach a pro gutter scraper to the end (it fits perfectly to the screw mount) and you can remove leaves and other gunk with ease. Thanks to the telescopic design, you can do this three ways: 1) for low gutters, clear from the ground (it extends to 3m and and is lightweight enough to make it easy to handle) and then use a step ladder to remove. 2) for higher gutters, you can climb a ladder safely with this pole and clear from one point (3 metres either side of you) 3) for some gutters I stay inside, and use it out of an upstairs window, throwing the leaves down to ground level - again, just one window gives me 3 metres either side - so easy. The mount is high quality metal - really solid. Wish I bought it years ago.

Not used it yet but seems very sturdy and of good quality. Screws onto the roller easily. A good weight, not flimsy. We’ve a large lounge to paint so think it will do a great job without the need for ladders.

I wish I could rate this one with no star at all. I paid more money on the postage, because I needed it urgently. Received a broken and USED item!! I could see painting dots on the pole, and the top section where roller gets attached to is snapped and missing!

Am Anfang sehr gut. Jetzt hab ich ihn zum 2ten mal in gebrauch und die verlängerung gibt auf. Es kann nicht mehr aufgedreht und auf länge gebracht werden. Verschraubung defekt und fest. Absolute Frechheit sowas zu verkaufen. Aber der Kundenservice der Firma ist nicht zu erreichen.

Sections de tube importantes, léger, ça fait sérieux. A voir dans le temps...
