All Natural Chives, 0.12 Oz

They smell fresh and taste like chives. Most herbs from the stores do not have any scent or taste due to sitting to long. Very fresh.

I live in assisted living, and the food from the dining room I take back to my apartment is tasty, but looks bland. I replate the food from the takeout container, and I often sprinkle the chives on top of some of the food. Scrambled eggs look more appetizing, and so do vegetables like carrots. A plate of mashed potatoes, Swedish meatballs, and canned corn is monotonous looking until I add the chives to the potatoes and corn. I just bought my third bottle - have been using about a year.

I got this because getting it fresh for a small amount I need is not practical. I was skeptical of the taste it would have as I think dried herbs can lack taste. However, this is not the case with this. The flavor is outstanding for a dried product. In fact, the first time I used it I used too much as it was too strong. I adjusted the amount after that and am very happy with it, makes a great addition for scrambled eggs, potato soup, pasta salads, etc. Very happy with it, just would suggest starting with small amount and adjust as needed.

Bought this for everyone in my family. It’s definitely low sodium but packs a punch with the garlic flavor! Leary’s has always been my favorite brand, but I didn’t use the regular garlic salt often. Now I use the reduced sodium one on everything and you don’t need much!
