This hat is a bit small for my biggish head, but I like the fabric, light weight and packability so much I'm keeping it anyway. It should stay on except on breezy days, and the strap is there if I need it for the hat to stay on. Agree it should be a bit bigger or, ideally, be made in different sizes and/or with an adjustable brim of some kind.

I like the coverage of this hat but the part that your head fits into is too small/shallow. It needs to be a bit deeper so that the hat will stay on. Maybe I got a dud? But the brim is fantastic, so I kept it. Also, it is lightweight. OTOH, being lightweight and too shallow, it wants to constantly fly off. It needs to come in a slightly larger size.

I bought this originally to wear on my walks but because my head sweats a lot, I thought it would be better to use for the hot summer days in the desert. the large brim keeps my entire face and neck shaded and the light weight provides a good amount of protection for my hair from the all day stress of the sun. The chin strap I could do without but it's a great optional feature for when the wind kicks up. If you're looking for a lightweight, packable and versatile hat for summer, gardening, vacationing, walking or lounging by the pool this is a great option.

I like the coverage, it folds up and reshapes pretty well. The downside is the chin strap attaches too far to the back and a gust of wind sends the hat flipping over my head. The straps should be attached closer to the front for better leverage.

Works great. Is lightweight and flexible to put in bag when not needed. I got this due to a melanoma found on my face and we are always fishing in boat in the sun. Very pleased with this purchase

I wanted to love this hat, as it has one of the widest brims I've seen for a flexible hat and it does provide good coverage, but only when the hat actually stays on. Unfortunately, the hat is not well-balanced in weight - it's weighted more on the back part of the hat. This means that whenever there's the slightest bit of wind, the hat comes off and flies backwards off my head, even when the string is tied, so I constantly have to hold onto the hat with my hand so it doesn't fly away. It would be better if the hat's weight were evenly balanced so it didn't fly off quite as much.

Excellent hat to keep the sun at bay. Love this hat as it is good quality and is not flimsey like many other hats. The drawstring is also great for windy days!

I love these hats and have purchased two. The hat is adjustable on the inside and brim of hat can be turned up or down. I have received many complements when wearing these hats. I do like that it comes with chin strap when days are windy. Hats do cover my entire face and neck. The price is excellent and hat is well made. Wish I had one in every color!
