Great pens!
I was skeptical about gel pens as other ones I have used leak somehow or smudge. These were perfect - no smudging, lines are crisp and clean. Does the job!

Best Pen I Have Ever Used!
I'll admit it...I'm a pen snob. I love writing (both the craft of forming letters with a good pen and the art of expressing myself on paper). No doubt, that is why I enjoy writing product reviews. However, when I write, I want a good pen in hand. Sure, often I compose at the keyboard. However, when I have writer's block, I pick up a good pen like this Uni-ball Signo Um-151 Gel Ink Pen. It just seems to get my creative juices flowing. The first day, I noticed the tiniest hint of scratchiness with this pen. After using it for a short time, it seemed to go away. Either I broke the pen in, or I got used to it. Whatever, I adore this pen and all its features.I recently tried these Uni-ball Signo Um-151 Gel Ink Pens for the first time. I thought I had tried almost every micropoint pen on the market. Obviously not. These pens are absolutely fabulous:. 38 mm micropoint. metal tip. gel ink. no smudging or leaking. open Es, As, and Os no matter how small you write. instant drying ink. smooth writing/beautiful lines. comfort grip. round barrel. snap on cap. pocket clip. long lasting.very reasonable price ($1.50 a pen)This is a five star pen in my book. I'm going to have a hard time finding a pen that can beat this one at this price. Very highly recommend to other lovers of micropoint pens! Love it!

THE best pen I've ever used in the world... better than Mont Blanc!
I Love these pens! Years ago i've gone to asia hunting for these pens in many many stalls, shops and stores. Easily THE best writing utensil I've ever used in terms of quality of ink, feel of the pen, and the overall look of the writing. The ball on the ballpoint is very smooth and high quality, not like those cheap american pens you get even at high prices. It's very smooth writing.I also like the thinner writing size. 0.38 I feel is the perfect size and balance between readability and practicality. I also own the 0.28 variant of this pen, and while I felt you can fit more words on a page with a thinner writing pen, it becomes hard to read at times because of how small the words look. I've also used many brands of 0.38 pens that you can find at Staples, office depot, office max, and various stationary stores around the world, but nothing comes close to this one. Even Mont Blanc pens are not as smooth writing as this one. And for the price it's just the best. The only thing i wish they had was a physically shorter and slimmer version to carry in your wallet.

Smooth, comfortable and reliable. The perfect pen!
I'm currently studying Japanese independently. In order to write practice drill sentences, you need a quality pen in which the ink doesn't bleed, is bold in color, and allows for smoothly flowing strokes. This pen does all of this and looks great doing it, too!!!I previously purchased a thinner gauge ink pen set because I desired a super thin line to increase the legibility of the complex Kanji characters. The lines were thin, but the ink was NOT bold and even dried up in some the pens. Also the tip would clog consistently which led to torn papers and a few broken pens out of frustration.I've learned that sometimes thinner isn't always better. These pens are absolutely marvelous. I remember purchasing a U.S. Signo series pen years ago. I couldn't stop raving about how great that pen was. They truly deserve their positive reputation. I highly recommend these for anyone writing in any language and I will be buying these again!

The best pens I own
I have used these pens so consistently, that I’m going to purchase my third order soon. The reality is, they don’t run out quickly, they perform uniformly, the fine point is exactly as advertised with a clear and visible ink. After having used almost 20 individual pens down to the last drop, I have yet to be disappointed in the slightest.

Glides across paper like a figure skater on ice
These are by far my favorite pens! I have dropped a few, and they somehow usually land writing tip down and stop working, but they are great pens otherwise. I haven’t found any other kind that writes as smoothly. 10/10 will purchase again.

Mid-tier Pen Worth the Price! People Will Notice This Pen! Do Not Lose This Pen!
A great pen for signatures and general writing where you need the writing to show up on photocopies and scans to online documents. Be aware that this ink flows faster than ball-point pens, so you'll run through a single pen in a couple weeks if you use it for writing journals or logs (You'll see it drain by the day or hour depending on use). The point is sharp and will tear or puncture paper without a hard supporting surface (cardboard and clipboards are ok). Be careful not to hurt yourself with the tip! That same sharp point can also come in handy for self-defense and pressing reset buttons, but beware that the tip may break if you do this (see way below). This pen is normally not available in local stores like Staples or Office Depot. I bought the .38 originally for writing logs, as wider tips made fitting numbers and letters into small blocks difficult. The grip is comfortable and the pen is surprisingly light and balanced when the cap is removed. I leave my cap on, as I am used to writing with weighted pens (I am also less likely to lose the cap).Be advised: Although these gel-pens are a vast improvement over Pilot G-series pens (as they will not explode or leak giant random globs on the paper) the plastic mechanism in the tip may break, causing the pen to sometimes not apply ink mid-stroke or not at all. I usually switch over to another pen in that case, as there are quite a few pens per pack. Consider buying at least 2 packs if you intend to use these pens as your primary writing instrument.Overall, it is worth paying $1.50 / pen for it's intended use. People take notice when they borrow this disposable pen. Be sure to get your pens back! They're hard to come by, good quality, and cost money!

Great for a leftie doodler!
My leftie daughter endorses these as the best pens! No smearing! As a right handed person I also like them, though like the Uniball Vision Elite slightly better…
