Fantastic Light improved only by more secure mounting
This is my third purchase of Cygolite products. I also have the Metro 400, but its only flash setting still consumes its battery in about 4 hours. Since I use headlights mostly for daytime riding, I prefer the flash settings. However, I dont like to feel like I have to recharge every one or two rides. The Dash has several settings, including two flashing, that not only provide ample daytime lumens, they provide 6 or 9 hours of time, which is enough for me to recharge less often. I was recently riding late, and it got quite dark. I was pleased to see a great field of vision and plenty of light (on med.) to see the details of the road ahead. It's smaller and lighter than the Metro, however, as others have mentioned, the rubber strap does not hold the light in place under really rough road and off-road conditions. For this reason I put the Dash on my road bike and the Metro, with its hard clamp, on my MTB. Only a few times has the light slipped on the road bike, but I do feel compelled to check it while riding. (I may put a small pan-head screw in the bar to provide a stop point past which the rubber strap could not slide.)The great upside is that the light comes off easily for charging and its small size and versatile light settings make it handy to take on hiking and packing get-aways. This is best suited for every-day road riding. Not good for any dirt other than light trails. The tail light is fine and bright. No problem staying in place and plenty of settings. Cygolite products are a no-brainer.

Perfect for intended use!!
Once again, credit goes to the team at WIRECUTTER for this recommendation!I ride/commute in Minnesota all year long including the harsh winters on a handful of bikes ranging from a fat bike to my single speed commuter. Wanting to upgrade from my 90 lumen nightrider for my 1.5 hour commutes. There's a lot to like. I wanted a small device that could be easily be swapped between bikes. The soft rubber strap will accomodate all size handlebars. My last nightrider came with seperate size loops to accommodate different sizes. That was a pain.I would say at 350 lumens this is the minimum needed for dark commutes on city streets. The modes are useful especially the one that serve both purposes of illumination and strobe. If mountain biking in the dark like I like to do in the winter, probably not good enough. I would use another on the helmet or most MTB in our area use the $25ish CREE light that sells here posting 2000 lumens!

Bright and beautiful
Got these to be seen both in daylight and night riding for my commuter. WOW are they an improvement over my old lights. I love the different modes on the headlight and can notice that I am seen better by drivers. Even in a lit city (at night) I can see the blinking on traffic signs from about 2 blocks away. When I'm on the trail at night, this is more than bright enough to light at least 50+ feet ahead. The taillight is also VERY bright and useful to be seen at all times. I enjoy that I'm not wasting money on batteries and can simply recharge these when they're dead (excellent battery life). The silicone straps make them easy to attach and remove when I park my bike. I've recommended these to my friends because every cyclist needs to ride to be seen, and these lights do just that.

Bright Lights on the City Streets
Both the Cygolite Dash 350 and the HS Micro 30 Combo have been performing well. The Cygolite Dash 350 provides excellent strong light, whether in strobe effect or standard mode with various intensities. No complaints. The time between recharges has been about 4 weeks. It is only used on my early morning ride to work when it is still dark. The HS Micro 30 rear light provides outstanding road recognition either in the dark or during the day. My only concern is the USB port seems a bit cheesy. It doesn't feel like it is solidly attached within the housing. Not sure how long it is going to last when attaching the mini USB cable. Otherwise it is a good device.

Very Nice and Bright
Very Nice and Bright, great for commuting..not so much for long riding. In High Mode, the battery only lasted 1:15 hours. As for the DASH 350.. the top 4 LED is aimed very high to the point of illuminating the street signs..not sure if it's a good thing or bad, but one thing for a fact is that driver will noticed you. As for the Micro 30.. the strap feel to be a bit loose.. however, it has not fallen off yet... overall.. i'm happy with these lights.

Being seen.
For me as a user. I very much feel safer and seen using this brand of bike lights then compared with average lights.Just last night tested the light modes coming home and saw the "high flash mode" way down the street reflected off a sign. Must have been several feet ahead of my position. In regards to the rear lights it's powerful enough to highlight a 3 wheel bike quite nicely.

Definitely Good for the Kind of Riding I Do
A good strong light that holds a charge decently well. I've been on several night rides and this has managed to keep the path really well lit. Please note though, I ride exclusively in the city, so I have no experience with this product on dirt paths and outside of areas that are already fairly decently covered by city lights.

Crap supplier, great product
Exceptional - just wish the read light had a horizontal mounting option or something to fit on a rack. Shipped with missing parts as well but as it was bought through a reseller I had to order the parts myself. Torn packaging, missing rubber strap for the taillight and no USB cable. The lights themselves are awesome. Supplier...not so much
