Really nice but needs better quality control
First impressions when I opened the box, everything was shoved in there. There was some paper in between the pieces but it didn't seem to help any. The main part of the air box seemed to be out of shape on the top. Once assembled it was bent. I applied a little bit of heat and got it into slightly better shape. The cover piece was still a pain to get lined up and there is a gap (see pic). As mentioned in other reviews, most of the holes did not line up so have a drill ready to make some adjustments, nothing major but still annoying. Fit everything together before you drill and screw it together and take your time. On the good note, it sounds great. My truck does seem to drive better and responds quicker. Overall I am happy with it.

Noticeable improvement, be ready to adjust every hole
Noticeable improvement in performance, response, and mileage. Fit and finish is okay. Installation took twice as long as it should have because each interface hole had to be adjusted. Not just the pictured cover hole interface with the air box, but each screw location has to be drilled larger, reamed to one side, or otherwise adjusted to get this thing together. Package was missing a flat washer and one of the small screws. The included zip ties will come in handy if your air box has a sensor mounted to it. Bottom line, if you have a few hours, don't mind tweaking fit and finish issues, and live near a hardware store in case they didn't include something, then it's a good value. The ability to reuse the dry filter is nice and not having to worry about filter oil potentially gumming up a sensor provides added peace of mind.

Good Air Intake
Installed this intake on a new 2020 F-150 with 5.0L V8. Testing the factory intake system with the clean factory filter showed a pressure drop exceeding 20" water in front of the throttle body at full throttle and 5700 RPM. 20" was the maximum my gauge would read and it maxed-out. After the Airaid installation, pressure drop was reduced to 10.9". There was a noticeable increase in power at the top of the RPM range and slightly more intake sound. With the metal cover over the filter removed, pressure drop was further reduced to 5.9" and performance was even better and there was very noticeable intake sound. I would have given 5 stars except the hose provided for crankcase ventilation was not long enough. Had to purchase a replacement at the local auto parts store.

Works better then expected
I did a fair amount of research before purchasing this CAD.Its now been on my 19 F-150 5.0 for a month. Im 1.6 mpg better, have a more immediate throttle response and love the intake sound even with the cover installed.I do have this paired to a 3" Corsa exhaust w/resonator delete, and 85mm throttle body. No tuner!Haven't put it on a dyno and don't plan to. I can attest to better performance and mileage. Is it a massive increase...no.Does it work...yes.I would highly recommend this product. Without the other upgrades im afraid you will only see minimal gains, outside of mileage and sound.Installation was incredibly simple.I've seen other posts where people were complaining...im lost on a response to that? Assemble it first, (don't be an ass...read the instructions), have the right tools, installation in the truck should not take you more then 20 minutes. If any of those things present a problem...take it to the shop and put your wrench back in your purse.

Dont wing it pay close attention to the instructions
I installed this on 18 F150 5.0. Quality is decent overall. Honestly my initial impression is.. I'm not super impressed at this price point. It's a lot of plastic for basically 420 bucks. The hardware is decent, I was shorted a washer that was needed in the little hardware bag. I opted for the dry filter, and it seems to be good quality. This is supposed to be an easy install... Honestly I'm no master mechanic, but I have a fair amount of tools and knowledge so I do maintenance on my vehicles. I have installed 3 different cold air intakes in the past, and this one was the most difficult. Maybe it was the couple cold beers consumed during install, but I had a little trouble with the rubber grommets, and the aluminum fittings that attach the manifold hoses to the inlet tubing. So I'd say pay close attention to putting the right size grommets in the correct spots, and install the aluminum fittings in the right direction (duh) before you get everything installed. I had everything about 90% done, realized my mistake and had to take everything back out except the lower box, flip a couple of the grommets and fittings around and reinstall it again. And just be prepared to replace the little plastic clip on the smaller line off the manifold, when removing it from the stock tubing it's going to break, and obviously you'll need a new clip to re-attach that smaller line to the new tube. A new clip should be included included in the kit.I haven't driven my truck yet, but after I do I'll come back to update this review on difference in sound and performance. I may give it a 1 star bump. Hoping it sounds good w/ my magnaflow exhaust. I'm not expecting huge gains, however K&N/Air Raid does claim an additional 19 hp and 26 lb. ft of torque above stock on the 2nd gen coyote. I have the 3rd gen w/ port and direct fuel injection and higher compression, so maybe I'll have a little more gain. We shall see if the juice was worth the squeeze.

Excellent customer service
I received this as scheduled. Once I opened the box I conducted a parts inventory and in doing so discovered that there was no hardware kit provided in the box. I immediately called Airraid and informed them of my discovery. The service rep was apologetic and after verifying my purchase and model # was quick to over-night my hardware kit. Good thing too as I had already removed the stock air filter from my truck. True to his word I received my hardware kit about 1200 the following day. Another quick inventory and installation was complete in about 30 minutes. Haven't had it in long enough to make performance comments, rest assured I'll comment again in about two months. So far I'm very satisfied.

clarification on the item
I had entered in the search for intake manifold and this item matched the description to fit my truck. However this is not an intake manifold and cost me $35.00 to return!!!

This filter likes to fall off poorly designed
I installed this CAI on my truck. I am a ex military vehicle tech and currently the owner of a construction company. I know when things are tight. I tightened the hose clamp that holds this filter on with a dewalt 20 volt impact wrench. The design of the intake part that holds the filter on is slanted so that the filter will want to work its way off. Mine fell off and I was driving without an air cleaner at all for god knows how long. This was on my brand new 2019 F150. I am NOT HAPPY. This CAI probably F***d my engine. Thanks guys.
