I bought this step to replace a similar one from ebay. There is no comparison. The Amazon one is on the right in the photo. Look carefully at the hinges!The ebay one never felt secure. The plastic is inferior as too were the hinges. Within days bits were breaking off.Being 78 years old, I needed to feel safe on the steps so decided to look for something sturdier. This was just what I needed.The construction is far better and the hinges don't come apart which they do on the other make.As the saying goes "You get what you pay for".I'm very pleased with the new step.

Easy to use very compact, great value for money and gives those few extra inches when reaching for items on the top shelve as I'm only 5 foot tall and most step stools are small and don't enable me to reach the top shelve in the kitchen cupboard

I have one of these but a lot older and kept upstairs but to save keep going up when needed downstairs decided on this one and it appears to be an upgrade .Both higher and sturdier and as aBonus has aLock on it which you just turn when set up and this prevents the possible folding up once being usedLove the design and this added safety features and I feel it’s a good value for money

I purchased this stool to help me reach my bedroom and kitchen cupboards. I am short and can not reach the top shelf without help and was tired of dragging chair over whenever I needed to get something off the top shelf. This little stool is perfect for the job. It folds up neatly making it easy to store. It is lightweight so much easier to move around than the aforementioned chair. It is sturdy enough and I think it would hold a descent among of weight however it is a tad but wobbly especially when used on carpeted surfaces however this is easily combated buy making sure you stand firmly in the middle and distribute your weight evenly.All in all I am happy with the purchase and would recommend 👌
