I do a bit of indoor rock climbing and the walls and holds can scratch a watch on your arm. This effectively eliminates that issue. One of my climbing buddies suggested it to me and so I bought it to protect the bezel around the edge of the watch and it works perfectly. It does make the buttons a little harder to press since the sides are slightly covered, but honestly I just keep this cover on while climbing and remove it afterwards since it's so simple and I have been happy with it. The one day I did forget to put the cover on, I got a couple of small scratches at the top of the watch face so I'll be sure to keep it on when climbing.

I wear my watch to coach high school sports and for construction work. This guard protects the face well. It's easy to snap on and off.

Simple to put on watch and provides adequate protection.

Easy installation and easy to remove. The black makes my watch look better than the stainless steel finish it had in my opinion. Would give 5 stars but it creeks sometimes because it is plastic on top of the metal. Not a bad trade off because it protects the bezel which otherwise scratches easily.

If you're looking at the reviews for this you're probably pretty rough on your gear. This isn't for you. I have ave bought several.and they all died a gruesome death or became.missing in action before they fate could be met.

I've given it a 3 just because I received it but in terms of useability, I don't think there's any point if you attached it to your Garmin watch. First Garmin is built TOUGH anyway, watches are meant to get scratched outside. I am more concern about the screen breaking or the wrist strap snapping. First problem i find is it retains moisture on the inside of the plastic when it gets wet from rain or shower and you have to give it a good shake or air it to dry. Garmin is water resistant anyway but I I don't like the ide of moisture around the bezel simply because it can enter the watch regardless and usually it makes your watch "smell" like sweat...and yes sweat causes moisture to form inside the protector. I also find adding extra bulk around the watch is a bit too much...that just me. It ruins the streamline shape of my watch. I purchase this just to test but great on the person who came up with it. I personally want to show off the face of my watch and how "rough" it is. If you are really an active, rough and ready person, then maybe this will offer some sort of protection against bumps and hits.

The bottoms holes are too small. Don't waste your money.
