ASRock B550M-ITX/AC Supports 3rd Gen AMD AM4 Ryzen™ / Future AMD Ryzen™ Processors motherboard, 700W

Bought this because the A520i ac was giving me a nightmare with my 5600GI assumed this mobo would ship with one of the earlier BIOS versions based on comments but shipped with version 2.00 :)Great motherboard for ITX.

I bricked my old MoBo by mistakenly flashing an old bios version that didn’t support my Ryzen 5600, hence, had to get a new board.It’s nice that it had USB-C on it and PCIEx4, it meant I could get a newer/faster NVME.The only downsides I’ve experienced are with some of the drivers, my Logitech mouse drops out quite frequently, I think my Bluetooth keyboard might be interfering, so I’ve had to wire that and it think it’s helped. I also have an audio interface and it turns out it needs to go into the USB ports attached to the CPU lane. I also found it best to stick to the wifi driver from the asrock website, as other versions of the Intel driver caused it problems with data being sent and received.On a positive note, I had to contact AsRock tech support about these issues and they were very helpful and knowledgeable.

I bought this to use with a 5600x: 5th gen Ryzen is supported on this board from BIOS v1.1, but it shipped with v1.0 (compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen only); I wasn't able to boot to BIOS (or update it) with my CPU. I was able to borrow a friend's 3600 and update to v1.5, and now the board's working great, so (unlike me) check with the seller about the BIOS version if you're looking to use a 5th gen chip!

Great board, simple, not over spec'd but worked perfectly with a Ryzen 3600 out of the box.No need for BIOS update.

Really good motherboard only 1 problem it ha just 1 nvme port
