Jonathan Green (10820) Fast Grow Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (3 lb)

I wasn't expecting much but this worked great. I had a pool put in last summer turning my yard into a big mud slide. I temporarily put fake grass down on most of it. But this summer I wanted to see if I could get some grass to grow. I have a lawn guy, but I still have a deck to do so I decided to give this a try and he could do his magic if it didn't work when he starts his service later this month after the deck is up.I must admit I didn't follow many of the directions. I just sprinkled some seed a couple of weeks ago when I knew there would be a rainy week. Other than the rain the weather wasn't great, we were going from 80 degrees all the way down to 30 some nights. I figured if it didn't work I can try again. I only did about half my yard to see how it does. Two weeks later and it's growing nicely almost everywhere except for a couple of areas with really compacted clay soil. Did I mention we have horrible soil? I had another bag so I aerated those spots and raked some top soil in before I sprinkled more seed. I also added seed to more of my yard except for the area where they will be working on my deck. I am more than thrilled with the result. Excited that this year I'll have grass in my yard again.

Incredibly impressed by this grass seed! I planted in early May in Chicago and the grass is looking amazing just about a week in. It’s honestly shocking. My neighbor and I are both rehabbing our lawns due to our kids tearing it up and it seems like this grass seed is growing a lot quicker than theirs (not sure what brand they used). Just ordered some more to fill in any gaps, but very happy with this product!

Received may 1st planted may 3rd sprouted within 5 days,qe had plenty of rain,I did the first cut with manual mower it looks great.ordered 2nd bag for so.e overfeeding. I will never go back to coated seed again (2 months and still nothing)

GRASS DID NOT GROW!!

As a longtime lawn enthusiast, I was deeply disappointed with Jonathan Green’s Fast Growing Grass seed. What sprouted in my yard doesn’t resemble normal lawn grass at all - it has the appearance of quack grass, which is essentially a weed that’s difficult to control once established.I cannot recommend this particular product from Jonathan Green. The results were nothing like what was advertised on the packaging, and I’m now faced with the challenge of dealing with what looks like an invasive grass species rather than the lush lawn I was hoping for.It’s worth noting that not all Jonathan Green products have disappointed me. Their Black Beauty grass seed line has been excellent in my experience, producing the attractive, hardy lawn I was looking for. If you’re considering Jonathan Green products, I’d suggest looking into Black Beauty instead of this fast growing variety.Save yourself the frustration and avoid this particular seed mix.

So impressed with this product. Put it in a cup and sprinkled it around the bare areas of my backyard. 8 days later with it raining for three days and the lawn looks absolutely beautiful!

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as the reviews for this product. Summer are good in summer bad however personally I have had nothing but good results as the color is bright green and there is lots of grass that has come up after planting. Yes, it did take roughly Close to a month for the grass to grow as thick as it as grown, but I am very pleased with my results.You will see in the two pictures on the left-hand side. I did not plant grass there however, on the right hand side, the grass is full where I planted grass.The grass is a little spotty, so I will be planting more however, I am happy with what I have so far. I am located in Fort Worth, Texas, and this product has worked for me.
