It never turns off, but that’s not the bulb defect
My microwave has 3 light stages: off, low and high. This bulb has a bright light in high, medium light in low and a lower light in off. Never turns off, but I researched that it is a problem in my microwave that does not really disconnects the bulb to turn it off. I desided not to return the bulb because it serves me as night light, with very low energy consumption. It never gets hot like my older bulb..

Did not last one year.
The bright light went to very dim and was unusable. Luckily this was a 2 pack and replaced it.

Doesn't turn off, flickers on low setting
I bought this bulb to replace my microwave bulb that burnt out. It puts out good light on the 'high' setting but flickers noticably on 'low' and when set to 'off' it still glows slightly. Not great but not worth the effort to return.

So far so good
I like the way it looks it fits perfect and seems to work just fine. As far as longevity goes how am I supposed to know how long it lasts if it’s only been installed for a month? If I can, I will update this review, but it might be a while if all goes well.

Nice and bright
This work on my Samsung microwave that had an OG light bulb in it. The low setting doesn't work that well at all, but the high setting is perfect and bright.

Perfect
I read some of the reviews and people complained that they had difficulty with dimming the bulbs. I just use it for what it's intended which is the microwave and have had no issues at all. Excellent white light. I expect it to outlast the oven

Brighter than original incandescents
Works very well to replace the 2 incandescent bulbs in the under side of the microwave that lights up the range top. Much brighter than the 11 watt incandescent bulbs that came with the microwave. They flicker for a short time, then flicker quits after a few minutes. I think that is the fault or the microwave. It was not designed for such an energy efficient light.
