Is this unit easy to use?

Depends on how your case is laid out. If the case is crowded, it may be difficult to get the motherboard side of the cable connected (both ends are the same but you'll connect one to the drive and one to the motherboard). This isn't a fault of the cable, of course. I will say that the locking clips keep the cable connected. I used these to replace non-clipped cables and those would work themselves loose a couple of times per month. I haven't had one come loose since I bought these.

I purchased an additional hard drive for my new computer which this cable will work with for data. Can't find a power cable for it. Any suggestions?

Most power supplies come with additional SATA Power plugs. You should have some extra unused power plugs in your computer that will work.

I'm planning on getting a hard drive that's a sata 2, can this cable support it? i really wanna know please!

These SATA III cables are backwards compatible with SATA I and SATA II. By the way this is a very good quality cable and I'm very happy with them
