Very good texture and taste, just love what you get at McDonald's...ensure that you fry initially at high heat and cover with a lid on the kadai (not in a pan) the oil will spatter. Let them fry for 2 mins on high and then you can lower the flame and move the fries around to ensure even cooking for a crisp texture. Once they have turned slightly golden, reduce flame and take out and sprinkle salt.
