The product is listed as 2 packs, however I only received 1. Very deceiving. If we are only supposed to get 1 pack, I would expect it to be listed as such.Anyway, the balsa is of fairly good quality, good density. I have gotten bad balsa before, so that is why I am giving it 3 stars.

Works great for the car and trucks that I am making

I buy these bags for my 8 year old son. He gets seriously creative with carving and building things with this and because its soft balsa its easy for him to safely carve as he learns and improves his knife skills.

I knew I'd be getting an assortment but only got 2 larger pieces (2x6), 2 small(2x3), one block about 2x4 and a bunch of small trim pieces. I can make do with this because it is for a dollhouse project but if you need larger pieces you shouldn't order this asst.

Packaging was okay, it wasn't very amazingly packaged. Quality of the Balsa wood is to be expected as it's well, balsa wood. If you're doing wood burning with it, I would probably stray away from it though as it's just a little too brittle and thin, and there's a lot of useless pieces that don't have much surface area.

I am happy with Midwest Products balsa wood scrap bag. What I recieved literally looks exactly like the photo in the main listing. For this price point when I need balsa again, I will buy this. I would recommend.

Real nice assortment of wood. Can make all sorts of things for my 1/72 scale dioramas. When I run out of wood, I will buy again.

I USED TO MAKE MINIATURE FURNITURE WITH THIS PURCHASE I WAS NOT LOOKING FOR BLOCKS OF WOOD.
