Keeps your points tight against the rail.
I have built over a dozen layouts of all sizes. Peco turnouts are my preferred choice because of the spring actuated points. Peco switch motors are the only switch motors you can use with Peco turnouts. They pop the points loose, then the spring throws the points to the opposite rail and keeps them there. I don't use anything else.

Much better quality than Atlas
Replaced some Atlas turnouts that were constantly derailing my trains. Not a single derailment since switching (hah) to a PECO turnout. They're worth the extra handful of dollars.

Right hand turnout
This prodeuct is much better than the products made in China. I try to avoid buying those unless absolutely necessary.

Be sure you buy the correct turnout! I wanted electro frog, but bought this by mistake.

A great turnout.
Despite the one star review someone else left, these switches are sturdy, robust and function flawlessly. The actuation of the throw bar is a crisp snap, and it holds in place strong unlike other switches on the market. I highly recommend this to all modelers.
