I read through the reviews and decided to use the product for a couple of months prior to writing my review.Received the product and was very easy to assemble. It's an attractive, all plastic piece, but looks like wood. Very easy to clean with a damp cloth, followed by a dry towel. I have been using a mix of reverse osmosis water with distilled water to fill it and have not had any issues. I've also just used plain spring water. I have been using dōTERRA oils and other quality oils with my diffuser and it has been producing a nice scent. I've noticed that it's the type and quality of the oils I use that determine what is going to come out of the diffuser. Common sense, yes? But some will complain that it's not throwing out scent. Oil quality determines everything. It produces a cool steam, not a hot steam, so it's safe for adults, not children or pets. I have a dog, but do not let him go near the diffuser due to the oils.It is very quiet. I recommend placing it on a washcloth on the floor if you have wood floors. If you are using it in your bedroom, place it away from your bed so the benefits of the aromatherapy can fill up your room from the ground up. In reading the reviews, it seems like some were keeping it high, almost head level, next to their bed, maybe on night tables, and were sensitive to the natural water sound of a humidifier. Any humidifier makes a little breath of noise in order to work."Works continuously for about 10 hours with a single fill." I was happily impressed. I did notice that I had to add more oils after 7 hours. I'm not sure if my olfactory sensors just got accustomed to the scent or it had completely disappeared as there was still water.It does have a timer which can be set as noted in the instructions. It's the button to the right, and you just press it and see the light move across to point 1-2-3-4 which will determine how long you want the diffuser to run for.Then there's the button to the left. That's the one that controls the color of the light. 14 color options or you can just keep the diffuser on and shut the light off. You control it all.Having purchased other diffusers in the past and comparing ease of use, durability, quality & value, I would definitely say that the Zen Breeze, Essential Oil Diffuser, 2017 Model is worth purchasing.

This was recommended to me by a massage therapist, who is a daily user of this diffuser in her practice. I had purchased the older model, which I gave to my daughter. I actually bought this one for her, but she wanted the different color lights. I guess I didn't read the description carefully enough and didn't realize that this newer version only has "blue." Not sure why the other colors have been eliminated (although I personally didn't use that feature).My only complaint is the "beep" when it shuts off. I use this at night and the beep has occasionally awakened me and it's a bit startling when you're sound asleep.

UPDATE 5 Months Later:I love this unit and use it every night by my bed. It's been so helpful with my allergies to diffuse essential oils while I sleep. I love it so much, I ordered another one as a gift!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I am new to the diffusing of essential oils and paid full price for this product on Amazon - my review is not tied to that and offered freely. I picked this unit after reviewing several because I wanted a few key features:-Large water reservoir-Easy to clean-Quiet/non disturbing unit-Adjustable light-Adjustable duration including automatic offThis unit offers all of that and with a max fill of 300mL, (2x the included filling cup), it lasts for hours and hours. You can also set it to go on for only 1 hour, 3 hours or 6 hours or it will simply auto shut off when the water is out. There are instructions in the box so please look for them. Pretty simple though - fill with water (again the cup included has a line at 150mL near the top and the instructions indicate a max fill of 300mL), add 3-5 drops of essential oil on the water, replace the top and set accordingly. I also like that it has multiple light colors and a bright and dim version of each or you can leave the light off altogether.The wood is pretty authentic looking for plastic and while I preferred a darker looking wood, I really like this unit. I also liked the fact that it has a longer cord than most (supposedly about 7ft I think) but have yet to use it.It's very quiet and almost sounds like a soft waterfall when it's on. It's rather soothing and spa like without being distracting if you are watching TV or something else. I was concerned about folks whose units stopped working as I've been using it almost daily since receiving it about a week ago. If anything goes awry, I will update the review but so far I've enjoyed the product and found customer service to be proactive and helpful. (They sent an email to let us know the power cord would be inside the unit for shipping.) Enjoy!
