The maintenance cycle of the engine this was purchased for requires frequent oil changes during initial break in and for several cycles after. Good lubrication is system critical so it doesn't pay to use a low quality oil. I don't want the engine to seize when I need it running.

I thought I was buying full synthetic... It is a blend. I needed more oil and I ultimately decided to keep it as for the use -- it will be fine. Usually I use Amsoil but my local shop sold out to a larger fish and they stopped carrying the product line. I know this is a big jump between the two, but I do change the oil annually and for my mowers, power washer, and snow blower -- this worked just fine for this time around. Next time I will be going back to my preferred Amsoil small engine full synthetic oil.

I know… you are saying oil is oil. But this stuff is what I use in my riding lawn mower. I believe the engine runs much more quietly with this oil in it than what originally came in it.
