I had bn taking the capsule form of motherwort which along with relora & hawthorn had stopped my heart arrhythmias. I was running out & needed some right away but my usual brand was going to take too long to receive. I ran across a review of this liquid brand that helped someone lower their blood pressure or heart rate within 20-30 minutes. Since I experience rapid heart rate occasionally I ordered some. A day after it arrived I was experiencing rapid heart rate—probably bc my dr had doubled my thyroid med. I put some under my tongue & drank some with 2 Oz of water per the directions. Within an hour my heart rate had gone from 89/90 to 70. I’m a believer! I’m also not going to take so much thyroid medication. I’m glad I ordered the large size! Best value for the money!

The flavor is like a very faint mint type of flavor. Good quality brand. I took this along with a homeopathic remedy to address heart symptoms (flutters, area pains, tickles). I’m happy to say the symptoms are gone now! I didn’t take motherwort for this, but I know it’s also good for hyperthyroid heart symptoms/elevated heart rate. Talk to your practitioner/naturopath/herbalist/homeopath (or all of the above) before starting any herb. But this definitely did its job! Thank you!!

I use motherwort in place of western rx's FOR high blood pressure...it WORKS! BP is STAYING UNDER 125/75!!! AND...I took it to the ER W/me..it took the hospitals beta-blockers nearly an hour to take effect and lower my BP from 190/98...AN HOUR! Motherwort? 20mns and it was in 145/77...the ER Dr & nurses were amazed...they SWORE they've never seen anything work as fast. Im sticking with herbals to treat myself...less costly & WAY LESS SIDE EFFECTS! IT WORKS GREAT!

Appears to help with good productive energy. I found to be productive on days used. Being productive helps with calming anxious thoughts. No taste, can add to water, coffee, drink.

Average. Like taking a very low dose of a benzodiazepine. Equivalent to something like a 0.25 Xanax or 3 mg Valium at best. I also have a high Gaba related herb/drug tolerance. Maybe it’s the brand or maybe it’s me. Definitely noticed a very effective synergy with Passionflower and Lemonbalm.For the average person it may feel like a small glass of wine.Worth a try and it would be best made as an elixir with 1 or 2 other tinctures. As most herbal remedies. Also the ratio is 1.5 so not that potent in the first place.

I try to remember to take this twice daily. Sometimes i forget. It was recommended for helping discourage heart arrhythmias, and it seems to be working. Tastes fine. I hold it under my tongue for as long as possible for faster absorption. I have also given a couple drops to my dog in her food, as her heartbeat is irregular too. I can’t tell how effective it has been for her.

Excellent for painful cramps! Works as a relaxant, lowering blood pressure and nerves. I will be ordering this amazing herb in tincture form again! My beloved loves this stuff for his sciatica!
