Solid build
I used this to replace a worn hasp. It is actually larger/longer than the one it replaced. Had I known that, I might have purchased a shorter one, but...this one worked out perfectly well. It is actually sturdier than what it replaced, and fit. That is most important. It fit.I am very happy with the purchase and while it is unlikely I will ever need another, I will not hesitate to get one should I find the need.

Great for unusual physical layouts
Had an awkward situation with a door that needed to be padlocked; edge of door went right up to the edge/corner of the wall, so had to wrap the hasp around the corner. This item worked perfectly.

Perfect for a 90° Lock need
I have an outdoor electrical box that for years the front panel was screwed to the wooden frame. So every time we needed to get to the panel we had to unscrew to open. I finally put the panel on hinges so it could be like a door and I just looked forever for how to install a lock around a 90° turn. I never even heard of a double hinge lock until starting to do deeper research. This worked perfectly, it was so easy to put up and I can’t believe it took me years to finally finish this project, so happy!

Flimsy and bends easily:(
I purchased this to secure the door on my shed. It was flimsy and easily broken into. I have to replace it with a different product that I will purchase in person from the hardware store here in town.

If your door isn't flush with wall this latch works perfect it can have some difference and still latches.

Ideal for awkward corners
To discourage kids making mischief on my back porch while I'm on vacation, I added this hasp with a combination lock to the inside of my aluminum storm door. There was some protruding trim and an odd angle to overcome, so I was delighted to accidentally find this double jointed hasp on Amazon
