Works well, feels premium. Unique and uniquely good form factor.
I can't speak to the long-term durability as it's still new to me, but I'm generally impressed. The wide blade really speeds up trimming time and the form factor is nice overall - easily controllable and takes up less space in a travel bag compared to the long traditional trimmer shape. Also the blade guard spacers are easy to install and remove - which is not always the case with some other units.Someone talked about cleaning where I guess we're instructed to run water through the thing each time? I've just been cleaning mine off with a stiff boar bristle brush and it seems more than fine. The only drawback is the non-removable battery making the unit effectively disposable - and the weight the battery adds. I'd rather have a lighter unit with no battery that could be run wired to a standard USB-C power source.

After 5 years, still going strong.
Never got around to writing a review for this. Bought during covid when everything was closed in 2020. Paid for itself after two uses. My son and I use it every few weeks. I use #2 and it takes about 5 or so minutes to complete, then the wife trims the back with no attachment. Battery still charges with no issue. I keep the unit clean, and the blade oiled after every use. Not sure what shape the battery is actually in after 5 years, but still has more than enough to get the job done. Never died on me mid cut.IMO really was a 5 star buy. Have not paid for a hair trim since. If the unit were to die tomorrow (does not seem likely), without question would get another.

Excellent
Bought this 9 years ago (2016). I have used it at least twice a week for this whole time and, yes, it is now showing some signs of aging. The battery doesn't last as long as it used to and some of the teeth/combs on the 1.5 mm comb have broken off, but I think that has more to do with how I used to hold it while clipping.I am about to order another, and will be very happy if it lasts half as long as the first one.

Best clippers ever... almost
I'm balding. Whatever. So, I just buzz my head as I have been for the last 15 years. These are the best clippers I have ever had. The shape and super wide blades are so easy to maneuver and take so much hair off in one pass, it has cut my time in half compared to traditional clippers. Only one problem though I really believe should be present. The instructions say to run the battery until the clippers stop. OK. Only problem is there is never an indication when it is near empty. On more than one occasion now, the clippers have stopped mid haircut, while I'm at the gym. So, now I have to go home, delay my plans or work and wait until they charge up enough to finish my haircut. Not to mention looking like a fool. The LED charging, on/off indicator should start flashing or turn yellow... ANYTHING to indicate 20% left or something so these situations could be avoided.

I bought this twice, in 2017 and 2021. It got way worse.
I originally had this in 2017 and I did not write a review for that, but it would have been 4.5/5. Now, the newer version I bought in 2021 is hardly a 2/5 and there's a few reasons for that.Downgraded Motor - 1/5The "motor" or whatever you want to call that drives this thing is awful now. My old model would sometimes almost run out of battery and it would snag my hair. I have about 2/5th of an inch hair, not that much. This new model, fully charged, struggles and snags my hair. It feels "smoother" and it's less loud but again, it's as if it's almost out of power. They did some serious downgrade here. Whereas it used to be able to cut as well as a $20 "larger" Wahl or other brand clippers, it's now way way way worse. They should NOT be allowed to sell this as the same model.Battery - 0/5It seems like the battery has been downgraded as well because if there's a less powerful motor it should definitely have a much longer runtime but it's now advertised as "40 minutes" and I assume that the advertised time will be much lower, but we'll see. I also remember using it more than 40 minutes total in the past before it ran out on the older version. I also don't look forward to it getting even weaker when it's only half charged like it did in the past, we'll see.Update -- I changed this from a 1/5 to a 0/5 because the battery lasted maybe 2 minutes before the clippers started randomly shutting itself on and off every few seconds for a split second and it got even slower/almost unusable. Horrible.Build Quality - 1/5The build quality on the older one seemed solid. The new one seems to have build or QC issues because even when I press the power button, I can feel it "click" weird, like it's getting stuck somewhere. It went from feeling like a premium product to maybe a little bit worse. It's still nicer than some other clippers I have and feels like it has some good weight to it.Update -- I changed this from a 3/5 to a 1/5 because its glitching out due to the battery issue above, I assume it may also have to do with the build quality and power button feeling weird as it happens more when it's moved around, this might potentially have QC issue.Value - 2/5The pricing on this used to be the same, even in 2017. I assume there's a lot of inflation and why they decided to downgrade everything but I would have rather paid $80 instead of $50 for the same old version. While there would have been some value in it being $80 and similar to how it was in the past, the new model is absolutely not worth it. I'd rather get get the $20 Wahl clippers that are still somehow $20 in 2021 as well, maybe they downgraded that too though I wouldn't know.Downgraded accessories - 2/5They used to include a nice travel case that was custom for this product, now you get a big nylon bag. The attachments are probably the same as they were before, I don't use them much. They don't seem more brittle or anything like that. They may have also decreased the size of the included lube, I don't remember it being that small but I'm not certain. Same with the cleaning brush, not sure. The charging cord seems different too, maybe a little bit thinner but not in a good way. I do still have the original somewhere so if I find it I'll add more details.
