I bought two of these sink strainers for my double kitchen sink in 2020, and I just purchased another set of two as back up, even though the original ones look great. This item does what it’s supposed to do — catch food particles before they go down the drain. It is a snap to clean. Only once did I spot a speck of tarnish on the bottom of one of them, and I removed it with a little vinegar. This is a very well-made and perfectly functional product that I highly recommend.

I feel bad I haven't left a review yet as I've had mine since June 2022; however I can say they've held up just fine and work as promised. They do need cleaning now and then but it's quick and easy. Will absolutely buy again in the future if I need new ones.

There were so FEW reviews with less than 3 stars that I didn't bother to read them before I ordered. Moments after receiving/testing in my sink, I certainly headed to those negatives which (of course!) confirmed my experience: the stopper is not wide enough to create a good seal, the water drains out. Sigh: now I have to go through returning it.But THEN thorough reading was rewarded because the following review made me realize I probably CAN get fine results if I remove the strainer when it's time to fill the sink for washing dishes. I'm going to try that. (Once the dishes are washed, I will plan to slip the strainer into place right after I pull the stopper off. Hopefully, catching the majority of fragments that would otherwise wash down the drain.)> So strainer works great. Suction stopper works great...they just don't work together. The suction doesn't happen when the strainer is in place. Why sell them together if they aren't going to work together....silly.

This is the best that I've come across. It fits very well and catches food whilst still draining water. I've used this for about a month now, and it is strong, not easily bendable, and looks good too. Very good quality. Happy i bought this. I'll be back to update this review if anything changes.

We previously bought a strainer for the sink, but it didn't fit so we got this since it didn't look like it would be as hard to get the exact size of the opening. It looks great in the sink. It catches all of the food pieces that end up in the sink. With the old strainer, some slipped down. The question above about being easy to remove needs to be taken out because it should seal tight which it absolutely does.

Stronger, easy to clean and reusable

I have a 2-side kitchen sink and the original strainer was worn out when I bought the house, and I have purchased at least 3 or maybe even four strainers, but none of them were easy to use, nor to get the debris out of the bottom. These, however, are GREAT. It is a pleasure to have a quality strainer! and indeed, I like the stopper too although I had a hard time figuring out how to remove it to let water out. I finally figured out the little top was easy to make it slide, so ALL IS GOOD!!!!! Thank you! (thankful, finally)

The strainer cup is nice but the silicon pad doesn't hold water in the sink very well. It slips off of the drain hole the minute you do anything in the sink, including just running more water.

Now it could be how it was taped up so as they didnt slide around in bag or they just are not flat. Even upside down with plate on top didnt help. Like the sink inserts but cant use both at same time. For me this was a fail buy. it happens. Someone else might find them great.

The silicone stoppers do not hold water in the sink no matter which way I try. I have tried multiple ways, it does not hold a seal. The sink slowly drains out. Very disappointing.The strainer portion is fine.
