I've used this mouse for 3 years now. Overall, it's a fine mouse. Wired connection is reliable and it feels great in the hand for either flat grip or claw grip. The side buttons fit right at my thumb's resting position, allowing very quick and intuitive forward/backward usage in browsing. The adjustable weights are always nice to have as well. With that being said, a $20 "gaming" mouse will only last so long. After 3 years, the scroll wheel began to jitter. No matter how much alcohol and cleaning I did, the jittery scrolling would not go away. Also, the cable is the standard cheapo stiff rubber cable, which can be rather annoying to deal with if you care about cable management. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this if you want a solid gaming mouse that's comfortable and reliable...until about 3 years in.

Cheap and good mouse for gaming. The 4200 DPI are very good for the price and the quality of this mouse is amazing.

I got this mouse to replace a $65 mouse that's button switch wore out after 6 months. The primary reason for buying was its low cost made it easily replaceable. It ended up lasting three years. The GM-08 fits my hand really well and moves pretty easily. It features two main buttons, two thumb buttons, a scroll wheel, and a DPI selector. The buttons on the side don't irritate my thumb. The gunk build up on the pads is minimal when I am using a clean SteelSeries glass surface. Like any mouse it builds up sweat residue on the surface. The surface is not coated so it's relatively easy to clean off. A pick is needed to clean out the gaps and the texture on the sides of the mouse. The price is good for what it offers. The main annoyance of this mouse is the DPI setting. It does not remember this setting after rebooting, so it must be set again after a restart. The failure point on this mouse after three years was scroll wheel wear. If I scrolled down, it would reverse up one to two lines. This is perfectly reasonable for the length of time this mouse was in use and the price point it's at.

The MSI Clutch GM08 is a good buy if one is looking for a responsive, wired, budget gaming mouse. MSI has been in the game for a long time and this mouse has a high quality feel to it. A huge CON for me, which is why I knocked off one star, was learning that the MSI software does not allow one to re-assign the two side buttons to do something else other than the default forward/back actions. I almost returned the mouse but did some googling and found a free software called 'X-Mouse Button Control' by High Resolution Systems. It's an easy google search and it looks like it's only for Windows. X-Mouse worked flawlessly and allowed me to re-map the 2 side buttons. So I kept the mouse! One last comment to make is that this mouse's physical size is a bit on the smaller side. I have small hands and this mouse fits perfectly. Someone with larger hands and longer fingers may find this mouse to be too small and cause hand cramping.

Mouse works fine. Movement is tracked perfectly, buttons and roller are flawless in response. The only thing I regret is getting this one that illuminates only red, verses another model by the same manufacturer that offers multiple colors. Functionally though, no complaints.

Owned the GM08 for a year for constantly playing CSGO everyday and with other games. For such a cheap price, it's the most versatile mouse I have ever used. Now some random disconnecting issues due to the cable always been pulled when doing quick aiming and stuff when playing. Now I did go for the GM11. Looks more simplier and slimmer by design. This time, the GM11 has 6 default sensitivity preset instead of 5 from the GM08. Nothing special. It gets the job done much better like the GM08.

Bought a new mouse for a new PC build. This is a simple and straightforward mouse, which is exactly what I wanted. It tracks smoothly and is very comfortable. The only issues I have is I have to reset the tracking speed (with the button on the mouse) every time after a reboot. It's one click so not a big issue, but I've never had to do that with another mouse. Other than that I really like this mouse and would recommend it.

Eu já possuo um notebook da msi há 7 anos, o qual continua funcionando perfeitamente. Confio na marca. Decidi comprar um mouse da mesma marca do notebook pois eu estava tendo problemas com o mouse que estava usando. Foi uma ótima decisão. O mouse funciona perfeitamente, cumpre o que promete, é muito bonito e agora combina com meu notebook. Recomendo!

Ich mag kurze Rezesionen selbst nicht aber hier reicht es einfach nur wenn ich sage sie ist Top oder ich werde sie wieder bestellen. Ich bin kein Gamer, dafür wird sie bei mir auch nicht verwendet (Gamer haben vielleicht eine andere Meinung) aber ich finde sie für den normalen gebrauch einfach mega gut und kann diese Maus nur weiter empfehlen.
