It's Great once you figure out how to use it.
Initially, taking the bearings off with this can be a little tricky. The part that hooks into the bearing actually unscrews so I open it up a bit to hook my Impala skate bearings. Some times it sticks a little but just wiggle it free. Putting it back together I go in order of bearing, wheel, separator and then bearing. Before clamping down & pressing be sure everything is aligned by holding the wheel in place. You don't want to bend the bearings. Once, you figure out how to finesse the process it's super easy. My 13 year neice figured it out quickly with the tips I just gave. It's not convenient to travel with but it does make things in my little home skate shop a lot easier for repairs. Roll on Sk8ers!

Presses and pulls 7 & 8mm bearings
Purchase date: 1/02/2024.Long story short - it's a bearing press. Feels a little loose, kinda clunky. HOWEVER! IT DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO!I could have bought another brand that has mounting holes, but I don't have a bench. Didn't/don't need the mounting holes.I am a rhythm freestyle skater. Center rink dance. Steps, spins, footwork.. not exactly jam skating. I skate on Artistic boots, mounted to a Sure Grip Classic NTS plate, with original Vanguard All American Plus wheels, that are 55x30mm. I have two pairs of skates. One with 7mm axles and the other has 8mm axles. I used this bearing press to press and pull 3 sets of wheels on both skates, in both 7/8mm axle sizes. Now, I needed a couple small 7mm washers to put behind the wheel to press the bearing completely in to the outside of the wheel, that faces the lock nut. The bearing that goes in the back of the wheel, closest to the truck was fine. All in all, for $50, I have zero complaints. It not super heavy, or huge in size, and it will press/pull both 7/8 mm. I'm happy with mine.

Great product!
Easy to use and effective. Makes pulling bearings from the Famus Joe Atkinson wheels much easier, same with safely pressing my ceramics back in without banging on them. Worth every penny.
