Glide Exact Black Retractable Ballpoint Pens, Fine Point (0.7mm), 3-Count Pack, Ultra Smooth Writing Black Pens

Please read to the end so I can explain my review! These are great pens... when they work. BUT, as with other reviewers for this pen, two of them were bone-dry. The third one worked great... until the bit of fluid ink ran out. It took a few days. The ink got sticky, started building up on the nib, and left blobs on my paper. Then, it got fainter and fainter until it stopped marking. WHILE IT WAS WORKING, THOUGH, the writing was smooth and the ink was a nice dark black. The lines were crisp and neat and without buildup and blobs. The drag on the pen was perfect for a fine point. Too many fine points hardly have any drag, so it can be difficult to control your writing, and your hand will start cramping. A *perfect* pen for me. "SO, WHY FIVE STARS!?" you shriek at me. Well, I don't think it's fair to lay blame on BIC for the pens being dried out. The blame is probably Amazon's. They have massive warehouses full of thousands and thousands of items. That's one of the reasons you can get two-day or even same-day delivery! The warehouses are likely inadequately climate-controlled, if Amazon even tries in the first place. Pens that aren't bought wholesale are going to have a very long order cycle, so if your assortment planning is done by a bunch of cats locked in a small room made out of number pads, you're going to have too much stock sitting on shelves becoming very, very bad reviews from angry people who are now one step closer to revolting against the corporatocracy, which is pretty metal, and j'aime vraiment ça. Liberté, égalité, fraternité, my friend. I'd just like my favorite pens to work, though. TL:DR Buy them at a local store to ensure freshness.

Good quality pen. I was looking for a Bic Glide gliss style but this is good too. The point is fine which is nice when I do work paper. I recommend to anyone that's interested.

No smearing here! Not super bold, dries fast, writes smooth. Comfortable, no slip grip. I'm a nurse, and we're very picky about pens. My coworkers try to steal these! Worth every penny.

These are good, but I wouldn't say they are excellent. I bought some similar ones from BIC and they were fantastic. Anyone who likes writing knows that sometimes half of the battle is finding the right pen. I kid, but having a nice pen to go when you when to write feels like a must. These are comfortable, light-weight, but I just wish there was more to the actual print as it seems a bit too light when you put it down on paper. Still, I will look for something similar should I need pens in the future.

When I worked, I used these all the time. I worked with inventory and was always counting and keeping track of things. I'd buy them by the box as other people liked them too and they'd disappear. These pens could write small and precise and were still easily legible. Now that I'm not doing that work anymore I still like using these pens around the house. I like that I can write tiny notes on things, do puzzles, or ordinary writing checks etc. They have never smeared or globbed. They are just great pens with fine points.

Awesome pens! Very pleasant to write with, nice fine point for us tiny writers, dries quickly so it doesn't smudge at all. Haven't had any blots of ink. Will probably grab a few more packs and keep them all over the house!

These are my favorite pens. Fine tip, black ink, and comfortable to hold.

Not smooth

Good writing pen. BUT tiny plastic covers the Head of the Ink Cartridge-took awhile to figure out why the pen wouldn't work! BIC should put a tiny cover over each unit Instead of this Black Teeny Tiny Plastic over the tip of the ink cartridge that you have to keep pulling to take off. Ridiculous. First time ever experienced this situation for a ballpoint pen! Protect ink cartridge - yes - but leave instructions as to this situation on the Package. Almost returned the whole package because I thought it was a Dud!
