Finally! A cold pack that works on my Peroneal Tendonitis. I've used several other cold packs, but none of them really got the cold right on the spot. This ice pack wrap fit perfectly and cooled off my "hot" ankle. Very happy with this purchase. One request to the seller is to include a sturdy, zip-lock bag, big enough to store the pack in, while it's in the freezer.

Works great, the compression aspect is even better for recovery!

As someone who recently suffered a significant ankle injury playing basketball (no breaks, but major swelling), I was desperate for anything that could help reduce the swelling. That's why I ordered this foot wrap, hoping for some much-needed relief. When the product arrived, my first impression was concerning. The box was damaged and looked like it had been used, and upon opening it, everything inside was loose – nothing was wrapped in plastic. Even the instructions were bent up, as if someone had gone through them before. The only indication it might be new was that the foot wrap itself still had a tag on it. It seems plausible that this was a used and returned item, and honestly, if I'm paying full price, I expect a brand-new, unopened product. However, given the state of my injury and how long I'd been waiting, I was desperate and decided to keep it. Despite the initial red flags, the product actually worked great for reducing swelling. It provides excellent cooling to my entire ankle, as well as the top and bottom of my foot. The design is smart: there's a gel wrap that you can either heat or freeze (I froze mine for about two hours), and then a secure wrap that goes around the gel pack to hold it in place. What really makes this effective is the pump, which allows you to make the fit snug and apply extra pressure to the gel pack on your foot. This feature was fantastic for the first two days of use. However, on the third day, I started experiencing itching on the inside of my right ankle. It looked like minor skin irritation at first, so I cleaned it, hoping it wasn't an infection. The next morning, I woke up with a blister the size of a fat man's thumb. Now, it's important to mention that when using this wrap, you need to wear socks or some other barrier between your skin and the super-cold gel pack. I was wearing socks, as I always do with cold therapy. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what caused the blister. Could it have been the wrap itself, the possibility that it was a used item, or my socks? I've been wearing socks for over 40 years without a single blister, so the socks seem like the least likely culprit. If you read other reviews and see mentions of blisters or skin issues, be aware that this product may very well be the cause. Final Thoughts Overall, this foot wrap is highly effective for reducing swelling and providing targeted cooling for ankle and foot injuries. The pump feature is a real game-changer for customizable compression. However, the questionable packaging condition upon arrival and the severe blister I developed are significant concerns that prospective buyers should be aware of. While it helped my swelling, the blister was a painful and unexpected side effect.

I had a badly sprained ankle and Achilles Tendonitis that was swollen for days until this wrap arrived. After the first application, the inflammation went down and my body’s natural healing process was improved. The product doesn’t hold air very well once it is pumped up. However, as someone that had ankle surgery and has had numerous ankle injuries, I still like how the ice pack wraps around the ankle and foot. It would be nice if the compression portion held better, but in terms of icing the area, I think it does a good job. Ice pack lasts about as long as any other reusable pack. I have 3 starts because of the faulty compression feature, it is HEAVY, and a little awkward to wrap around. I have wide feet. When my ankle was very swollen, it was difficult to get the straps to Velcro closed.

My daughter let me borrow hers after a foot injury. I had to have one. The pain and swelling relief was quick and fast. I put mine in the freezer for ~80 minutes... keeps your foot nice and cold for about 30 minutes. Has a pump up air valve so as your fool's swelling goes down, you can pump it back up to keep the wrap nice and snug. The air relief valve is next to the pump up ball. It's apparently also good to use with heat although I have needed that yet.

I have bough this boot for my sprained ankle. It is very good. 20 min x2 a day. Cooling effect +compression. I recommend this product. Very happy.

Arrived quickly. Minimal packaging. Easy to use. Incredibly well designed to allow you to insert your injured foot/ankle/lower leg without an awkwardness or pain. Cools easily. Compression pump is wonderful, as allows maximum coolness and swelling reduction. I had lateral ligament and ankle reconstructive and unfortunately my mum broke both her fibula and tibia at the lower end, we have both used this to aid recovery, and has worked fantastically. Super value for money and would highly recommend!

Easy to use and effective

A good quality product that achieves what it says. My only downside with it, is the size of the sleeve - I'm a UK size 10 and the inner gel pad is a bit neat. Would prefer if they maybe offered a larger size range ie. An 10-14 UK mens for example.

I bought this for my gf, she has issues with her ankle from an old sports injury. She says it really helped for swelling.
