I was a bit worried about this because I didn’t k ow what type of router we had but found out that you can find very easily but putting a router code into your browser and it takes you to the page specific to the network you are connected to. I am have sky q and sky internet out in two years ago and it’s the correct 2.4ghz. This is a breeze to wire in. I have two lives and common which make up the live 1 and out on this then the nuetral. It was a little fiddly getting it to connect through the smart life app which you have to have, it won’t connect directly to Alexa without that as it’s a skill you have to add if you want to use voice commands. I tried adding automatically but struggled as it kept timing out and eventually did it through a generic wifi switch which connected straight away. Works really well. Now I know these will work I’ll probably start to update the rest of the house as and when I can afford it. You can buy cheaper online etc but these do look stylish and I hope are safe and well made.

Nice looking, easy to install but beware of depth. These need full depth wall boxes and in most new builds low profile boxes are used so you’ll need a spacing plate. Unfortunately the plate I got had rounded corners so does not match perfectly. The switch can also be a little temperamental and needs some pressure not just contact. Overall happy though, the wife gets a switch and I get automation. Will buy more.

So far, so good.Installation was a bit of a pain, as the wire inlets are at the bottom of the socket, so you have to turn the socket upside down or install the wires from below.For install info. Wires going from your current COM inlet, will be paired together and inserted into the L inlet. L1, L2 and L3 (depending on whether or not you get the 1, 2 or 3 switch version) are your lighting rings. You will need a neutral wire too.Once installed, the lights on the socket will start flashing blue. I used the Smart Life app and found the switch and went to install it.It wouldn't install and keep telling me that it was because I was trying to install it on a 5ghz wireless signal. So, after some research, I found that out Virgin router projects both the 2ghz and 5ghz signals on the same network name.I had to log into the router and disable the 5ghz signal.Ran the installation again and the socket was picked up on the app.Went back onto the router and turned the 5ghz signal back on and everything worked as expected.Set it up with Google Assistant by sharing the Smart Life app connections.Now all switches are voice controlled, along with grouping into rooms.

So, these looked good value - bought 4 for my elderly mother - yes, they need a neutral wire (as they do state in the description). They also need a spacer plate as they are quite deep for a normal light switch backbox. Once neutral wire was fitted, they were quite easy to fit and very easy to pair with the app. Alexa also found them very easily. They looked good and worked well so all good for 2 weeks......... they one stopped working totally... no problem, I 'll just get a replacement - all very easy on amazon. So, then replacement fitted and all good again for another 5weeks. Then another failure... hmmm.... maybe not so good now.... Then, it appears I'm outside the returns window so can't return it - no details or method of contacting the seller - any chats just refer me the "closed returns window". Eventually Amazon have sorted me out after a phone call (good old Amazon), but won't be replacing with another Moesgo as the the life expectancy is very very poor. I;ll be paying more money for a more robust switch from now on. Shame the quality isn't there or the customer service.

This is the second MoesGo product I have bought, The first being a CH thermostat/ controller. Its great value and works well. I'm an electronic engineer and as such I kind of know how to get around the weaknesses. Unfortunately, there are some:1. Why supply the wrong size screws for UK backplates? They are too wide one for the manufacturer to sort out !2. The terminals on the device are tiny and could easily be chewed up or broken.3. No earth connection, had to put my own in as this is for a towel heater.4. The unit is very deep and doesn't allow much wire clearance.All that said, it works well and is great value. Just remember when setting up the wifi connection that you will need to disable the 5GHz network from your router to configure it, then switch it back on again.would of give 4* but the same mistake with the screws has annoyed me :-)

Had a issue with one of the 3 way switches we’d purchased about a year and a half after purchasing but Moesgo sorted us out with a replacement very quickly once confirming date of purchase. Couldn’t ask for more, and will definitely purchase from them again. Thank you ever so much!! A++++

Wenn man einen Neutralleiter hat, ist die Umrüstung auf diesen smarten Schalter ein Kinderspiel. Auch die Tuya bzw. Smart Life App ist in den vergangenen 2 Jahren immer besser geworden. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Ich habe diesmal einen 3er Schalter installiert. Ein Anschluss ist physisch angeschlossen, sodass ich das Licht über den Schalter und über die App ein- und ausschalten kann. Mit den anderen 2 Knöpfen schalte ich eine smarte Steckdose und einen anderen Lichtschlter, die nicht physich mit dem Lichtschalter verbunden sind. Das lässt sich dann über die App realisieren.

Lo acabo de instalar y no lo detecta la aplicación y tampoco se enciende la luz de wifi. He contacto con el vendedor y me a resuelto el problema lo recomiendo es buen producto y un buen servicio tecnico
