Not bad at all, didn't expect it to fit so well. The ratchet piece pinches neck hairs, otherwise pretty nice.

heavier than most hard hats, well made , fits great and comfortable, expensive but well worth it. Straps around the ears can be a little frustrating but saves it from falling off and losing it

Due to regulations overseas, I had to get a helmet with chin straps. This doesn’t have a chin strap but does go under the chin to connect. It is lightweight and comes with a great light attached that is rechargeable. The light is very good quality and very bright. The price is perfect-not cheap but not overly priced either. Great for work. I have had no problems with it. I even ordered an extra one for a coworker and my company is purchasing 12 more for other crew members.

The product is quality but the reason I bought it was to have a chin strap. Must be my melon is too bad because the chin strap doesn't even come close to working for me.

Sometimes you do get what you pay for. If you don't need to wear a hard hat very often the cheap ones are fine, but if you're wearing it all day every day and moving around a lot, it's worth spending a little more.I've only had this one for a few days, but it feels like money well spent. My old cheap-o hat was always a little uncomfortable, and sometimes even painful on my ears. This helmet is a little heavier, but the suspension rig is a lot more comfortable and distributes the weight better. The ratchet also feels very high quality. Sometimes I don't even notice it on my head, and the light already came in handy when the lights unexpectedly went out for a minute (happens occasionally on new construction sites) while I was working in a stairwell.I haven't had to test the battery life on a site with no lights yet, but I'm confident it will be better than constantly replacing the batteries.Unexpected bonus with the helmet style (as opposed to full brim or cap) is that the shape + chin strap makes it look almost like a WWII helmet! I was a little hesitant to spend this much, but I'm a believer in reducing the number of things that annoy me throughout the day, and this hat accomplished that. As long as it doesn't fall apart in a year, it's well worth it.

I like the snug and comfortable fit the vent are great for that breeze on your head and the i like that you can fit different acsesories like a fan or lights on the rear of hard hat. I use this helmet for going up and down a ships ladder and unlashing containers so you have to be at attention you dont bump your head and this hard hat does the job comfortably and safely.

Most hard hats are uncomfortable to wear, non-ventilated, and typically don't have a chin strap, which means that they can fall off your head if you lean over. This hard hat is a huge improvement over hard hats of the past. This hard hat fits me better than any hard hat I have ever worn over the past several years. The padded straps are comfortable and hold the hard hat securely to your head. The vents are a great feature, especially for someone like myself, whose head gets hot very easily. The low profile of the hard hat is a nice feature too and helps with peripheral vision. The built-in head lamp is easy to use and is powerful with several brightness settings.
