Bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday. It lasted about a year, but she used it almost daily for spiders, crickets, preying mantis, moths, assassin bugs and more. She put it through a lot and absolutely loved it. The little round catchers broke first and eventually the door broke off the cage. But for a 6 year old who loves bugs like my daughter, it stood up to an awful lot of use and was very well loved. I would definitely recommend.

Got this for 3 to 5 year old grandkids and they had a ball. Nothing in my yard was safe from them. The nets are pretty small, as the picture does show. The bug houses seem pretty sturdy and easy to get bugs in. Kids could study the bugs to their hearts content before we released them. Not very often you get such a bang for your buck.

Bought this for our 2 year old granddaughter who is fascinated with bugs. It’s colorful and somewhat functional, as long as you don’t treat it too roughly. We’ve used the scoop to grab various insects from under pots and from the lawn to be inspected in the magnified cup. She loves to play with the tweezers and the cute magnifying glass too. We haven’t used the large cage for anything yet, but it’s a good place to put the accessories when not in use. Again not super sturdy, but has held up well and provided hours of fun for a 2 year old.

I bought this bug catcher kit for a friend’s grandchild. I cannot tell you how pleased he was with his new gift. It’s wonderful watching him enjoy outside time instead of being stuck in front of the TV or game. Even his 10-year-old brother enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, one of the pieces broke as I was removing it from the package. I don't expect the rest to last long as the plastic is pretty brittle and cheap. However, my 2-year-old grandson loves the set and I've opted not to return it. EDIT: My money was refunded the day after I posted this review, without my requesting it. I find this to be excellent customer service and will buy from this company again. Thank you!

We've had hours of fun catching bugs with our 4.5 year old granddaughter this summer. She loves the no-touch bubble-scissor catcher and cage. We also use the jar with lid to catch things. Peers through the magnifying glass at bugs. Lightweight, so gentle use recommended. Net is small, but rest of the set is great. Would recommend.

The kit has many fun things for kids to catch bugs, keep bugs, an a magnifying glass to look at bugs, the kit itself was well made and a great value for the money.

Listen peeps, I never write reviews on here, but this was bad. I originally ordered this for my nephew and he was all excited about it. On the original item, the net was broken, which totally defeats the purpose of keeping the bugs inside. Soooo, I order a replacement. Well, that replacement arrived with broken green plastic on the bottom. This is just cheap and not worth the money. There’s a ton of other options on here that would be far better. Save your time of dropping off/returning items, and save your money. 🤙🏼Note: coming back here to say the seller did message me after the fact and was super kind and helpful. Want to give them props for that.
