Great for a spare and it charges and fits well I use it on a Hercules 1/4" impact driver I got off the clearance table at harbor freight for ten dollars no charger or battery put a adapter on the tool and I like it and it works for my kobalt tools in a emergency but they are high power demand tools I may get a larger one too try

Defective battery - waiting to fail
Purchased 3a battery for longer use cycle time between charges. Use cycle time was same as 1.5a (part of combo kit).OK guess I could live with that BUT the performance and battery life got worse between charges..Finally yesterday it just blinked several times and died- will not charge!!. Hell it's only 6 weeks old with very little use. Seems like it never did hold a complete charge.Very disappointed in 30 day replace policy. This was a latent defect waiting to fail. Surly there must be a way to get this replaced. Ordered replacement batteries from this supplier in the past with excellent results. For all you folks buying batteries- if it has the smallest "hiccup " during initial use - return it. My "good enough" attitude bit me in ass.

Works but, Won’t run my sawzall..
Works well with kobalt drill and 1/4 impact driver, however, saw-zall (reciprocating saw), will only run for about two seconds and shut off (Over-discharge protection).I would buy the name brand 4ah minimum for that. Worth it for low draw tools like a drill or flash light.

Compares to OEM Kobalt
Carries good charge. Can't tell difference between OEM and this one. I charge then unplug and isolate.

Bought as a back up. Works great and can use blower and trimmer at the same time.

Not quite on par with OEM
This 3000mAh battery out of the box, charged then used did NOT last as long as my Kobalt OEM 2000mAh battery. I expect longevity will suffer also. Disappointed, Lesson learned
