Extremely handy tool.
I used this to make several shorter length cables from a long one that I no longer needed. It works extremely well. The connections are secure and the included testing device makes sure they are accurate. I was tempted to withhold a star for the difficulty in properly aligning the many wires in the cable but honestly, I can't see any way to make that easier without expanding the size of the connector and then it wouldn't fit in the standard slots. It's a wonderful resource for computers that just don't perform well on wireless connections.

Great tool to have
Works great and the pull thru connectors is the only way to go.

Good tool and combo
This is a good tool and a great combo pack. The crimping tool works great and it's a great deal for the money. Coming with connectors it's a perfect deal. There is one thing I didn't like and that was the Connection Tester. It is very cheap and has flimsy connections. I literally connected the first cable to test it and it showed it's working. I tried to unplug it but it wouldn't come out of the plug easily. I tried to be gentle on it and got it out eventually. However, since then it shows all cables are broken, so something inside must have disconnected, or broke. I contacted the seller and they were quick to answer and replaced the cable tester.

Good beginner or at home kit.
This set is exactly what I needed. I bought this to try to have a little more organization with my Ethernet cables. The connectors and protective boots are good quality. The tool itself works as it should. It isn’t the highest quality but it gets the job done. The small stripper doesn’t always do the best though. It tends to cut a little too deep and will cut your conductors inside the cable. Overall this is a great kit for the DIY’er or somebody trying to get into the field. I wouldn’t recommend this kit for commercial use. But other than that, this is great for the price.

Just what I needed to wire my network cables in my house.
I have been having problems with the cable service in our area and needed to have to try fix the problem myself. I ordered this Coaxial Cable Tool Kit and tester and went to work. I found that I had bad lines in multiple places and most were bad ends. This kit gave me the parts and tools I needed to fix these problems. The kit comes with everything you need to repair, test or make new coaxial cables and test them when needed. This BNC crimp tool kit, there is the BNC crimp tool itself which will crimp the RG58, RG59, RG62, RG174 end pieces, which you will find 20 male RG58, 10 female to female connectors an RG58 crimping tube and RG58 heat shrink tubing. The crimping tool itself is heavy duty, really heavy duty, built tough, this tool is made of carbon steel and the nice thing is the ratchet and lock design as you squeeze the crimp tool the ratchet will hold it in place while you adjust the cable to the exact position you need. There is a release lever on the inside of the handle allowing you to open the jaws of the tool. This kit comes with a coaxial stripper for stripping RG58 RG59 coaxial cable, much easier than using a razer or knife, and safer to. The multi-function cable tester will not just test just you coaxial cable but it will also test new work cable such as Rj45 as well. I went nuts with this thing, I was testing everything I could get my hands on, spear cable's, used or junk cable's and net work cable's. I even started to cut and shorten all the cable's that I had that were much to long. My new found buddy😁😁😁👍👍👍💯.

DIY easier than you think.
I had a new computer built and needed to hard wire it since my nephew said I didn't ask for a wifi connection. Ugh... I waited three months for two different people to come and wire it for me, nobody showed even when I offered to pay them. I ran Cat5e wire through the attic for the TV, stereo receiver, and computer. I couldn't wait any longer and decided to watch YouTube send figure out how to connect these things. So damn easy one you get the hang of it. I bought a bunch of connections and practiced a little. Got everything wired in the boxes and connected perfectly. This kit has it all, wish I'd have bought it sooner.

Good for the price
These are adequate for the price, if I used them every day I'd want a better quality. The quality of the connector is also a factor in how successfully they work so spend a little bit on those for better results. I was able to create the long runs needed for a POE camera with relative ease.

The quality isn't amazing, but they're the perfect kit for learning how to make network cables, with enough RJ45 plugs to make a few cables. The testers work well enough, and so does the crimping tool, but they do feel a bit cheap and flimsy.
