Meowijuana Feline Express - Stoney Shake Blend - Large Bottle

I have bought the catnip sticks from this brand before that looked like joints and my cat LOVED them . I thought I would get a larger quantity to keep around since she reacted so well to that blend. I very disappointed in this purchase and here's why: 1) Packaging. The container used is a pill bottle with graphics wrapped around it on a plastic sleeve, not printed onto the bottle. So when you tear open the sleeve the entire thing comes off and leaves you with a plain bottle. Half the appeal is the joke of the "Meowijuana" brand name and without this, might as well pay ALOT less money at your local bulk foods place to get generic dried catnip in a baggie. The lid to the bottle was locked on like a child proof cap and was hard to remove. As someone who can easily open vacuumed sealed Pickle jars I cannot imagine someone with less hand strength even attempting to unscrew this lid. 2) The catnip itself is NOT remotely close to the product I bought in those "joints". This catnip is full of some sharp twigs/sticks or something. My cat was instantly turned off by the texture and walked away after one lick. I picked some up in my fingers to crush it to release more oil and dammit I got pricked by something sharp that actually drew blood . Now if it did that to my callused finger, what the hell would it feel like to the inside of my cat's mouth?! I poured out half the container and it was all like that, prickly and sharp bits through out. It all went immediately into the garbage and I wasted $$$ for nothing.

Ordered this version thinking the kitties would like it since they like to eat wheat grass but they didn't really like this as well as the organic ground type we usually buy. Mixed it with what little we had left of a ground type catnip and they did go for it but not for the length of time they usually do. Each cat is different so we may try the non-bud type next time, it seems like a quality product. Our cats just seemed too picky.UPDATE: Jan 2017The cats have been indoors now that it's cold and out of curiosity, I grabbed one bud from the bottle and gave it to one of the kitties. A fight almost ensued so they each got one straight from the bottle. Since it's been at least half an hour and they are still rolling around being goofy, chewing on the buds and rolling on it again, I realized it could be they didn't take to it in June because they have a Catio and we put Cat Grass and Catnip to grow in it for them. The Meowijuana buds also seem drier from sitting, even with the lid on and smells more potent than when we first got it.I'm changing it from 4 to 5 stars...because the kitties are still loving their buds as I type this.

We have tried every type of catnip and MEOWINJUANA is the only kind that really gets them high and relaxes them! This is Pax and he is HighAF here! He is literally covered in it too. Ha! The smell is close to real MJ and it is strong. We have bought every 'flavor' in this line and the cats love them all!

I bought this product on a whim and I am very pleased with it, it will be my go-to catnip from now on my cats seem to enjoy it more than they've enjoyed any other can if I've ever purchased for them. I am now a lifelong meowjuana fan

The packaging is great, however my cat's aren't excited about this catnip. They prefer Kong catnip instead of this stuff.

My cat was all over the tub, drooling, as I was trying to open it, I put some in my trainers (picture shown above) and Billy went mad excited! Very good product and love the name!
