Solid product! Wizard of the Coast should release more
The quality of the content is great for the money you pay! Initiative cards and conditions are an improvement over the one contained in the essential kit, nice but not essentials! The wilderness exploration handout are very good! I haven’t tested it yet but I can imagine myself handing over a food tracker + hexmap to the party for exploration and using one myself as a DM to track progression. The dungeon master screen is amazing, beautiful art and the back very useful. I think reducing the amount of infos relative to conditions would have make it even greater. But I am very happy with the product. The best part is the artworks on the front. Very well done and inspirational for the players!

Would recommend, especially on sale
Everything arrived nicely, and the materials are of a high quality for the price, and succinct descriptions of how the different effects work. The DM screen provides easy to understand descriptions for new DMs to learn basic mechanics of the game, while providing a large number of additional resources on cards and a box to hold them with. Furthermore, the art quality is very good with an amazing design (in my opinion)

Suitable for journeys outside of towns, cities and dungeons.
Many may say a DM screen is an essential tool for running games but the reality is that it is a useful tool that allows a DM some secrecy.Despite the fact that a DM screen is a shield to hide notes and dice roles from the players this particular one is focused on rules and situations that occur in the wilderness. This seems more geared towards characters travelling in the open world and dealing with the risks involved than anything else, which is easily something that can get taken for granted in a campaign. The resources provided are:5 double-sided dry erase sheets.1 double sided hex map1 hex map/ supply tracker (water & food)1 hex map/ Actions in Combat reference1 wilderness chase guide (rules on both sides)1 wilderness journey guide (encounters situation/ guide)Status conditions, initiative and weather condition cards and a card box to store them.A DM screen with rule summaries. These in thier own right are fine but together are worth it, at the least having them available. The dry erase sheets are a nice touch and are worth having, they definitely can provide some benefit to both the DM and the players, depending on thier uses. I actually liked the idea of the Wilderness Journeys sheet and the resource trackers a lot and the hex sheets will be useful for caravans or journeys outside of cites, towns etc.The cards are made of a cheap thin card with perforations to seperate them and a very thin card box you can make to store them in. This is OK, for game purposes it can be useful, especially if you take notes using the cards who is affected by what.Despite this being a neat idea, it also feels the cheapest and nastiest part of the set, though being more portable is beneficial.Lastly the DM screen, a beautiful piece of artwork for the players to see and some really useful bits of game running information on the other. There's details from the basics (skill checks, difficulty checks and conditions, etc) to advise on selling goods, travelling and even the weather. I think the information provided is useful enough and will be fit for purpose, depending on the situation. The quality of this product is decent. The DM screen is great, sturdy card that folds up nicely. The dry erase sheets are good, they should be perfectly fine for thier purposes. As said before the cards are the worst part for quality but are still useful, laminating them will give them a better life span but will make the storage box useless. The set comes in a basic slipcase to store the screen and the sheets but no room for the cards.Overall I like this and it is generic enough to be of use for many games of D&D, if you're in the market for a DM screen this may be a great solution for you.

Wilderness DM's Screen
Very useful. However, not so sure about the initiative cards. The card sheets were not that easy to separate, in spite of the perforations. So right at the edge of a couple of the cards, the surface got torn. The self-assembly card box needs a little adhesive to make it more robust, you'll have to source this elsewhere as it doesn't come with the product.Useful tools, especially the wilderness food supply tracking tool.A lot depends on your gaming style. If you like grit and keeping track of food supplies as part of the wilderness adventure, this is a good product to have.Otherwise I wouldn't bother. If your more high fantasy with the party fully healing each night then I wouldn't bother
