So easy and compact - works great too.
What a great little scanner. The computer sees it as an external drive. So, when you turn it on, it connects and opens that "drive" folder and that's where the application to scan is. Just run that - very easy to customize - when your done, turn it off and your computer disconnects. Nothing to install. Scans both sides at once and auto detects color or black and white. Of course, you can override to what you want very easily if you need to. Very compact and easy to take with you - we work from the RV some so it's perfect. Also got the case for it.

Does 2 sided scanning without flipping the paper!! LOVE THIS!
Holy balls, I love this!! Does 2 sided scanning without flipping & re-feeding the paper through. BAM! Simple like it should be!! Just click the button for 2 sides before u scan. Makes it fast & simple! My friend was amazed at the simplicity of it’s duplexing feature when she was helping me. I totally made the right choice. Easy to tote with me, also.

Functional Portable Scanner With Some Quirks
The media could not be loaded. The scanner is so portable! I love how small this is, definitely one of the highlights. When it opens up, it still doesn’t take up a lot of space, and having a feed tray with paper guides is a nice touch.Minimal items in the box, which is to be expected for a portable scanner, pretty much the scanner, a micro usb to usb cable to connect and power, and instruction guide. I did wish there was a carrying bag or case for it, seeing as how it’s a portable scanner, you would want to have something to carry it around with. The micro usb connection portion on the scanner is recessed, and has a bit of a gap between the shell and connector, I am concern over time if the connector will get bent and pushed further in, but so far there hasn’t been any issues. Connecting the micro usb feels a bit mushy though, doesn’t feel solid or fully in contact when fully seated.Once connected to a pc, flipping open the tray automatically turns on the scanner, and the scanner folder automatically pops up (Windows). I love the built-in software, it’s more than enough settings and options for my needs. No additional driver installation needed. The scanner did automatically check for firmware updates, and after a somewhat quick update, it was up and running.Scanning documents were pretty easy after setting the options to my needs, setting the dpi higher than automatic, for example the maximum 600 dpi, did slow down the scanning process, as expected, higher quality, slower scan. Leaving it on automatic was more than enough for my needs, and my scans came out great. Love that this model is a double-sided scanner, no need to re-feed the sheets to scan the other side.A complaint though, it seems to struggle when automatically grabbing the sheets to scan, in particular single sheets. When you hit the scan button, you can hear the scanner activate its roller to catch the sheet, but it doesn’t usually catch the sheet initially, you can hear it ramp up the roller to try to catch it again. There been more than a few times that I notice it did not catch the sheet, and would require either retrying to hope it catches it, or just manually pushing the sheet down to help the scanner catch the sheet. I did notice that with multiple sheets, it didn’t miss the catch that often, but you do hear it ramp up the roller when it misses the initial attempt.Overall, I do enjoy this double-sided scanner, it’s easy to use and super portable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a super compact scanner that can be set up relatively quickly.

Good for quick scans; does work w Windows 11 but finicky about USB cable
I love the combination of the small, fold-up form factor and the existence of the fold-out guides for the paper(s) to be scanned. I also like that if I feed it a double-sided document, it knows to scan both sides without me having to find a setting in the software. The on-board software is pretty intuitive in general, although I sometimes forget to click "Finish," which leads to PDFs that appear to exist on my computer but can't be accessed until I click "Finish." Also, the software doesn't launch automatically for me when I open the device - the scanner appears like a USB drive in Windows Explorer; I have to open that "drive" in Explorer and double-click the software .exe to start it, but that's no big deal. And the software starts up faster than scanning software I've used with previous, otherwise better scanners.A bigger deal is that the scanner has trouble sensing and gripping the paper after it's placed in the proper place; I end up doing one sheet at a time so I can place it, start the scan, then give it a tap to help the scanner grab it. Fortunately, my scanning needs are usually minimal - a two-page bill, the signature page of my otherwise PDF'd tax return, etc. For that, it's great to have such a small, handy gadget around that can produce something more professional looking than what I can do with just my phone. But if you scan a lot of multi-page documents, you should consider something more substantial. For a while I thought the device didn't work with Windows 11, because it worked initially (when I had Windows 10) but recently could not be recognized by the computer. I eventually realized that was because it didn't like the USB to micro-USB cable I had switched to. (The instructions say to use the cable that came with the device, but mine got stepped on or something and would no longer fit in my computer's USB port.) I tried again with a different (Anker brand) cable and it worked again, so Windows 11 was not the problem.

Not for ledger or tabloid
it scans amazing, the product does exactly what it says it does and it works very well.its my own fault for not verifying before buying but I do want to point out that this does not scan ledger or tabloid size paper - which is a little inconvenient for me but its my own fault and no fault of the product or seller. maybe just add the paper sizes to the description to prevent future orders from making this error.
